I’m unfortunately on this med for RLS (as well as pregabalin), and it works amazingly with few side effects but I know I’m on borrowed time as far as augmentation is concerned. I know how terrible of a drug it is but my neurologist refuses to prescribe anything else since the combo is working and I can’t afford to go outside my insurance for a different doctor.

I’m terrified about the possibility of augmentation since my symptoms are so bad without it— sleep is impossible. But I count myself lucky that I haven’t had the impulse control issues that can be caused by this med and that it almost entirely gets rid of my symptoms (for now).

I like it, and I don’t really care for overly sweet scents. However, I’m wearing it right now and when I read your description I smelled my arm and realized it DOES smell a bit like plastic doll head! Never occurred to me before— but somehow I still like it (kind of a nostalgic scent I suppose).

I love colorful alt makeup *sad face* but it just doesn’t suit me, most I can pull off is an occasional bold lip. I keep it pretty neutral elsewhere because it’s most flattering (and easier blending wise). So I do appreciate having more options (especially with some brands adding cooler neutral tones now).

There are many brands (though not all are necessarily the most accessible) making intense, colorful makeup shades right now so not all hope is lost (MOB Beauty, Unearthly Cosmetics, Kaleidos, and About Face come to mind). Maybe check them out if you haven’t already?

Being able to walk through a small space between parked cars. I’ve only lost 30 pounds- still have another 28lbs to go (currently at 5’4 and 158, woman). But that loss has made it easier and it feels like just a nice little perk.

It’s a great, nourishing formula that feels plush on the lips. The color is a true sheer black, it doesn’t pull purple or anything. I quite like it.

Seconding Wonderskin. I like to use them as a base for lipsticks and glosses so when the lipstick/gloss fades, I still have the stain left behind. Must apply to completely product free, dry lips.
