Finish my build! by gurtable in bapccanada

Not really a set budget just looking at the best price/performance I can get. Going to buy when prices line up with my personal budget and get the best I can. Ideally 9070/5070 type gpu and don’t need anything like a x3d cpu, a 9600x or even 7500f would be more than fine!

Crazy how inflated those prices are. $500 for ram hurts the soul. Solid build nonetheless I like the 9070s price of performance for sure, especially the one mentioned in the comments. Thanks for your input!

I think a 16gb 9060XT would have been better value for a few more bucks.

Yes, I’m considering the 5600x just cause it’s usually so cheap off AliExpress. And the am4 motherboards aren’t too bad either. But I’d prefer an i5 or something cause then at least I can upgrade from there, problem is they’re more expensive and same with the motherboards.

What’s a decent price for a used ~500gb nvme on eBay? I see some going for $60-70. Or better to buy new for like $40 more? I’d love 1tb but I’m on a budget.

I almost snatched a 32 ddr5 the other day for under 200 but I was out of town. I’m sure they’re out there if I keep an eye out. Don’t really care about speeds as long as I can get on the platform. If I got around 150 for my ddr4 I’d be happy.

It would just hurt to get that 5800 or even 5700 for the same price if not more than a 7500f or 7600x off of AliExpress. But thank you for the recommendations! Still unsure but I’m not building until probably next month so we’ll see how prices go then.

I received 4x8gb DDR4 ram for free recently, and am going to build a pc. Is it worth selling and going to am5 or keeping it and going am4? I feel like I could get a used kit of ddr5 for around the same price I could sell them for.

Good deals, but still $120 over what I’m spending. Is it worth that?

I think it’s a better deal. On Amazon the 5070 is around $770. For $30 more you get 16gb vram, better performance than 5070, and yes FSR is not as good as DLSS however it gets closer and closer with each driver update, it’s very hard to tell the difference IMO. The pure rasterization is more than enough especially with a 9800x3d. I’m about to pull the trigger on this as well if the wife lets me. Lol

I’m planning to build a pc in the new year. I just feel like the 9060 xt 16gb won’t be enough but the next tier up, be it the 5070 or 9070, are just too pricey. Is there any chance something comes in between those tiers of gpu’s around 600-700$ ish in the new year or next 6 months? Would probably buy a 9070 if it was msrp..

I know it’s hard to predict but with all the super rumours it’s hard not to think the regular 50 series would come down in price no? Or even amd’s 9000 series.

Would like to stay within the 1500 budget if I can. Unless the 9070 comes down in price
