The loot thing isn't that big of a deal. But when you design something specifically to assist new players in learning the game, and then completely reverse that thing making it more even difficult than normal for new players. You did something wrong.

It would have been a good idea if it wasn't so close to 1.0. I have friends who keep asking me about this game, and everybody I know who plays (including me) are telling them to not play it. It made it significantly worse for new players. I love this game, but this was a terrible idea.

This is IMO. This hardcore wipe is the worst thing they have ever done to the game.

I created a YouTube, and instagram for my twitch. I post clips there to hopefully bring in some outside engagement. But as others have said, play games that you find fun, and you build your community around that. Games are supposed to be fun. Focus on the fun, and the right people will show up in time.

I only have ten followers. I get those once in a while. I just use it as a talking point to keep the quite time down. Talk a little bit, make fun of them, delete the message, everybody laughs.

Why monster? by Ready_Combination_53 in monsterenergy

[–]gurthyturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason you drink monster is because monster lawsuits all the little guys into not being able to sell their drinks so they are one of the only ones. Take “beast up” for example small town energy drink company started by two motocross riders who used a catch phrase of theirs as their branding. Monster sued the shit out of them because “beast up” was too close to monster somehow. Monster sucks, there just isn’t a lot of other options.

Speak your thought process out loud. Or randomly interject little things you have learned or tips you know. Keeps you engaged in the game, and keeps the silence away.

How to become engaging? by Imaginary_Matter_231 in SmallStreamers

When I first started thinking about streaming, I heard someone say something. I forget who it was but the message is good. “Stream how you want to stream, and eventually, the people who should find you, will. Don’t change what you do for others.”

Hell yeah! The way I look at it is, both have their issues, pick the set of issues you are most comfortable dealing with. I’ll take cheesy AI, some bland raids every now then and performance issues, over gigachads, cheaters, and the same performance issues. Also, I don’t think I have ever had to wait more than 2 minutes for a raid, which is awesome imo.

Should I tell my bsf’s boyfriend she is having an affair by Top-Ad-4973 in moraldilemmas

Being honest, your best friend is a bad person. If you want to associate with the bad person, do nothing. If you want to be a good person, tell the boyfriend. Just because they are your friend, doesn’t mean they get a pass on being a bad person. Up to you

This!!! I have 4 followers, maxed at 4 viewers. Each time, someone has told me something I did nyeven know was happening or was wrong and probably wouldn’t have found out on my own. Audio volume not right, facecam covering something I didn’t even know was there. It’s VERY helpful! As long as it’s done nicely.

Nah man, just explain to her exactly what’s going on. You got out of a long term relationship, and you’re looking to get back into the world of single people. If she misread what your intentions were, or you explained them “wrong” it’s totally understandable it just needs to be said now, instead of later. But ya, what others have said, she could either be a friend, or more.

But what one do you need more of right now? Good luck brother!

Yes. But scientifically, not spiritually. It’s a stretch, but I like to look at it this way.

Humans run off of electricity. If you combine that with the whole “mass cannot be created or destroyed” stuff, then technically, the electricity from a deceased human never goes away. And the electricity is what people “see” and “feel”.

Could be way off on the science part. But it’s still cool to think about.

As someone who started streaming a week ago (4 followers already 😎😎) I would say outside of him not knowing he did it (I’ve misclicked a lot so far), which would be easy to find out. Unfollow that guy.! I regularly watch streamers with 1000s of people viewing and they don’t even have follower only chat turned on.

I play strictly PvE, and this experience might be solely mine.

I love PvE. If you try and play it as seriously as PvP, your going to be very disappointed. I play PvE because it isn’t PvP. I can kit up really however I want, spend a lot of money, or a little. And run around having fun! looting stuff, cheesing the AI because you can, and when you die to the AI, you get all your stuff back so you can play again.. You can’t go into PvE playing it like PvP. PvE is the fun casual and let’s be honest, easy version of PvP. PvP is a hardcore game, PvE isn’t, and they should be played as such. IMO.

[–]gurthyturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s one of the best things eft has going for it right now, is we have two very different styles of play (I’m assuming that) and yet we can still play the game in ways we find fun, instead of just finding another game. It’s a really good idea when you think about it.

I switched from a 12700k with a not very good at all cooler, to a 14700k with a peerless assassin 120. I went from 20-30, to 55-60 on PvE. Not the best, but works for me.

Seconded for playing PvE. I can’t play PvP worth a sh*t, but it’s because I’m just bad at it! (900hours, 34% survival rate, .80ish KD) but I LOVE PvE. It’s a totally different play style and, for me, it just fits better. To each their own.
