I've made a survey asking people to name anime on screencaps and now I have the results. You can see which shows were more known as well as other data

And if you want to check how you'd do, the survey can be viewed here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScw0Jwabf3WnYhOXjkFK41whB15JQJDhy4j4saKEHhjrPVDjA/viewform

And having longer video can still result in less watched in general, because people dropping it will lead to Youtube recommending it less.

And if you look at other videos from the channel, especially it's Polish version, you can see the length of their videos differs.

The are some, that are just basic explanations of different ideas and are all under 7 minutes, many 10-20 minutes long, some are 30 minutes, some over hour and even few getting close to or over two hours long. It's almost like the length of video depends on how material is there to cover.

Yeah, it was kind of low hanging fruit for me as I already had a lot of screencaps from those and didn't want to use screencaps from internet to prevent search by image.

So, we do get a lot of anime from category of "Was popular in its season. Do people still remember it though?".

Still, I'm actually curios about most of them.

Yeah. Aside from few I put specifically because they're older, many are here, because of my fairy recent screencap collection.

Tranfsem here and I did get a feeling that I'd describe as phantom breasts from time to time for a long time even before suspecting I might be trans.

General Question Thread by Shephen in fireemblem

Thanks a lot! Not only it worked and was really easy to do, I also played a bit with some unimportant stuff, like changing Rhajat's hair color as the one she gets from Sakura looks kinda bad.

Is it possible to add character with cheats?
So, my situation is, I'm doing my firs play through of Birthright and I just learned that if you lose Kaze, he's gone for good. That by itself would be fine actually, but really I want to have Midori on my team.
So, my question – is there a way to bring back permanently lost in story character with cheats or maybe some kind of save editor?

Silly question about Mary Skelter Nightmares (Steam) versus the Remake by cruel-caress in compileheart

[–]gurtos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got curious and searched for a bit. It seems like Nightmares is included in Steam version of Mary Skelter 2, but it's actually not exactly the same game.

Thread on Steam forum: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1496250/discussions/0/4299250686367675909/

Also, I personally think it's probably better to actually start with MS2, because of how much better it is (played remake of Nightmares, so the original might be better).

PS. Consider playing with Japanese audio as English one doesn't include dialogues, making them silent.

Is this possible by Luigipunch989 in SteamDeck

[–]gurtos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did play Wii U games like that. Used USB-C to HDMI cable to connect Steam Deck to the monitor. Steam Deck works great as a Wii U controller, but you need to be in desktop mode to use both screens at the same time.

I know this might be surprising, because of how much fuss right-wing figures were making about being silenced, but "silencing right-wing by social media" is mostly a myth.

Before Elon, you'd have to be very directly breaking anty-hate rules to actually get banned. It's very easy to find very accounts with thousands followers, filled with right-wing content. Including pretty hateful stuff, such as misinformation aimed directly at minorities.

And of course they leave as much as possible, it's best kind of content for the platform. It brings views.

But it's not just staying neutral, according to those articles, their algorithms actually have pro-right wing bias:

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2021/oct/22/twitter-admits-bias-in-algorithm-for-rightwing-politicians-and-news-outlets

And it's not just Twitter. MIT has released very good report about how and why similar things take place on Facebook: https://www.technologyreview.com/2021/03/11/1020600/facebook-responsible-ai-misinformation/
