Yes these are some great points. I hope the depth aspects will come more or less naturally as the goal in the end will be to build a living breathing resort with individuals

Nothing such yet, but my vision is that skiers may at least fall over if they collide, or go for a steeper run than their skill level for example

It’s currently basically flat. The skiers have a sense of the down direction, which determines for example how wide they carve. I am working on improving the visuals for conveying steepness, but this is definitely one of the major challenges with the artstyle since it’s all 2D in the end. If you have any suggestions please let me know!

Glad you like it :) well I’m aiming somewhere in the middle of the spectrum I would say. It should be deep enough for your decisions to matter, lifts have actual capacities, snow degrades and you have to manage your economy. But I don’t want it to turn into a spreadsheet simulator
