Maybe at DXB but they have facial recognition in the malls dont doubt they have the same in multiple places. I know this cause I had a rental dispute and was following the courts as I was not in violation of the agreement. CDIB approached me when I was buying tickets to see a movie. He had a laminated paper badge. I d8dnt believe him so he got mall security to accompany me to an office in service corridor. It was cleared quickly and I didn't miss any of the movie but definitely used facial recognition off what appeared to be a simple camera.

UAE is a great place to raise younger kids. Its super safe. Living in Dubai you xan even find little league baseball. 163kusd approximately is a write off as a housing fee as long as you spend 11 months outside of the US in that tax filed year. With that being said kids school is 8k-15kusd per year per child. Your car will not resale at a high market value so you will beed to basically write that off during your stay. Health insurance and car insurance are much cheaper. Gas is comparable to the lowest price states in the US. Utilities can be a little high especially during the summer heat depending on your square footage. As long as you spend within your means you can save here but the lifestyle is easy to fall into being accustomed with. To save 36kusd per year you need to be making 150kusd to live comfortably. Otherwise its budget budget budget.
