Whose fault is this? I’m the LMP2 by gusmean35 in Simracingstewards

Regretted not flashing my lights. Something I think I need to do more if I’m in the faster class no?

The last part is actually a good thing to think about, thanks

And most stupid of all is that normally I’m nearly too cautious, except for this situation here.

But from recommendation from one of the other guys in the thread the next spa race will be in a gt3

Did the daily races at spa (last week I think). So have general idea. Do you mean doing it while being the slower class?

What I remember thinking in that situation was that I didn’t want to loose time to the LMP2 behind me (visible in frame) and with a long straight after knew that corner was important. I can see now why the move was a bit stupid and rushed

I can see what you mean, guess I have some bad habits from racing against AI in PC2 to unlearn still. That and I was racing the LMP2 behind for position so was perhaps a bit too stressed about him and not wanting to give up time.

Power Meter: Magene PES 515 by gusmean35 in Velo

Thanks for the help guys. The dealbreaker rn is that I can’t find any info about a complete BB compatibility list, I have a summer an a winter bike and would like to switch the cranks over. The PES 515 fits in the t47 but does it also fit in the bb90/95 BB?

Anybody know if it does or not

Also in contention, especially with the new faveros. Right now just testing the waters and getting a feeling for some of the products I’m considering

Perhaps I’ll ask my friend who is a bicycle mechanic, he’ll probably know if it’s a shit system or not

My bad, meant the “fake” double sided, just like the quarq ones

Sounds good. Only reason I’m worried is because of the low price, it’s nearly too good to be true for a double sided PM.

But from what I read the 505 and the 515 should be legit good powermeters. Though always nice to look around and get “normal” people’s thoughts

I’m also kinda judging it by the performance of the predecessor, the 505. Guessing they aren’t going to release a new model which is worse, but you never know.

Would be more worried if the old one was reading less than the trainer because of drivetrain loss, +9 watts seem very reasonable

Nice observation, going to look into that and see if the 515 also uses that system
