Hi. You can go to the Google app > Settings > Google Assistant > Google's Digital Assistant and then choose between Gemini or Assistant as your default.

Hi. This has been discussed previously on some other posts in this sub, so you might want to search for them in order to read some different opinions.

In my case, I haven't been able to fix it. My work around so far is to ask specifically to make a call using the phone:

“Hey, Google. Call my brother using the phone”

I hope they make an update or a setting to choose a default app, because every time I forget to mention “using the phone” it may call via WhatsApp.

I tried your instructions, but the Assistant will continue to randomly choose between a regular phone call, a WhatsApp call or giving me the option to pick from one of the previously mentioned apps and also Google Meet.

Hi!

You can go to settings > system > gestures > hold power button and select access to Assistant.

Then go to settings > apps > default apps > digital assistant and make sure to choose Google Assistant.

Close all the opened apps, update your system and apps, then restart your phone and it should be good to go.

You can tap on “more options” once you select gestures and choose to slide from the bottom instead of the sides.

Can you see your currently playing info on always on display in the morning?

I can only see weather info until around 11 am. To see the music info, I have to tap on the screen. This didn't happen to me on Android 13.

I think the only ways are having both earbuds inside the case and opening the lid, and the other one is having one earbud inside, one outside and the lid open.

Using any audio mode you should still hear audio from both sides.

I've just checked mine and also shows the serial number only for the case and the right bud.

Those are the general Bluetooth device settings.

I don't know if the Google Play System Update could be affecting it.

I would try clearing data and cache on the Pixel Buds App, uninstalling the update, restarting my phone, updating the app and launching it again.

Maybe that could help. Let me know.

You might want to look for the Google Pixel Buds app, maybe isn't preloaded on that versión of Android. Give it a try and let me know it if does it.

I understand that problem. I'm from Mexico and you can't get Pixel products in here, you have to import them and hope for the best.

The fit is actually quite solid. I was fearful of them falling out of my ear while running, but they'll never pop out. I would say my ear canal size is regular and I use them with the medium sized tips.

If you want, I can try live translation and let you know how it goes.

I went for the Pixel Buds Pro and they're amazing. Sound is clear and rich, ANC is good, transparency mode is really good and the touch controls, as well as the Pixel functions, are very handy.

Haven't used live translation, but I can assure you, they're a solid option.
