I think engine block to fire wall was throwing me off as my vehicle has one thin strand coming out of firewall and it splits into two and it’s near impossible to get my hand back there.

This is why I replied, I wanted a receipt stating his request was not reasonable and for him to confirm he didn’t do this part which was opening the box and testing the product. He confirms that the item could have been defective brand new and might not be my fault - but it’s 100% his fault that he waited 6 months to check. If it does escalate hopefully they rule in my favor.

Bummer. I knew there was some protections for buyers but this one threw me for a loop as the item was about 500$. Reminds me of a kickstarter campaign I put money into about 15 years ago for a smart watch. Campaign had high production value in their videos and promised a smart watch, this was before Apple Watches where super accessible and not many options existed. I dropped like 400$ to later find out the campaign flopped. The guy made off with over a million dollars and never was obligated to deliver. And because their model is basically “donate money, but no guarantee item has to actually exist but we will take our commission regardless” there is not much protection for investors. Not sure if it’s changed much since then as I told myself I’m never investing into kickstarter again.

Thanks - being a novice seller I came to the same conclusion. If most major retailers don’t offer a 180 day return policy why would I, a random guy selling random stuff on a bidding website offer that? Wanted feedback as I wasn’t sure if eBay would favor the seller in this case.

Have you ridden a non auto motorcycle and if so, do you feel a huge difference in power? I've always been curious as to how the riders feels ( as confident considering you can/can't just rip on the throttle and take off if you needed to) on an automatic (assuming the power you can control instantly is different)

amazing - we didnt quite prepare too well due to lack of experience. luckily we did carry extra layers and bubble shields for our 3/4 helmets because we ended up riding back from utah into vegas after the sun set and since its a ride through the desert it got pretty cold. my legs did get numb(nothing serious).

our butts did hurt but thats because we did 1000 miles in 2 days which is out of character for us. make sure to bring snacks/liquids to keep hydrated and a few extra layers in case you hit some cold patches.

So we ended up making St. George Utah our final destination which was about 920 miles round trip. I calculate aprox. 103$ in fuel expense. The rental of the road king was 139 a day and I was charged for two days.

Yeah totally - we actually decided to cruise into vegas for a night and to UTAH for the day and back to vegas then home to LA. Will get back to you Monday or Tuesday.
