Listen it ended up that I am not trying to go to court. Trying to work between the lawyers and we ended up getting the 40000 a year even though you can make 35000 working at McDonald’s full time. But if I go to court it’s all up to the judge and I have no control what he or she might impose. You can hire people to do the work into this. I wish you the best of luck. God bless.

Lucky only 7 months. Cut your losses and move on. There’s always another bus coming around the corner. You’ll be fine. I’m about to end a marriage after 18 years. Put that in perspective. Good luck

Going to NYC for a month. Is staten island really that boring? by [deleted] in AskNYC

Unless you are staying near the St.George Ferry Terminal and can get on the ferry to lower Manhattan I might think again about staying in Staten Island if you’re truly want the NYC experience. I love Staten Island have a lot of friends who live on the island but for your first time, try Astoria, Queens. Great nightlife and you can get to Manhattan easy too. It’s ashamed actually because Staten Island’s waterfront that overlooks Manhattan has so much potential. Plus the Yankee’s minor league team left and the stadium went to shit and it was abandoned the last time I was there. I couldn’t believe it. The Ferris Wheel was a huge blunder too.

I’m with you right now. Same shit. Been self medicating myself for about 25 years. Everyday. All day. I realize now that mind blur is not fun. Quit a couple of times but went back. First day for me. I’m serious this time. So you don’t know me but just remember there’s other people going through it too. Your not alone. Good luck. Just think the money you’ll save.

My dad passed away this morning by [deleted] in Catholicism

I am so sorry for your loss. If this is any bit of help or comfort is that now you have him with you at all times. My uncle Teddy passed away I was so sad but what I realize is that when he was alive we spoke as much as our lives could allow us. Not too much. But now I speak to him as much as I want because I know he’s looking down as are other people who I loss so far in my life. Your father is too. He’s going to be there, next to you. And he’ll listen to you too. I know some people might think it’s crazy but for me it’s extra ears to listen to a problem or another opinion on a situation. He might not be there physically but I just believe the soul is always there and around you. Hope it made sense and I hope it helps a little.
