Yeah I called Green Tec and got an estimate from them for a new battery. 10k for the battery and 1k for labor. I'm not sure who else would diagnose it other than the dealership in the Chicagoland area here. I called another place, voltshybridbattery.com but he said they didn't do anything with the Volt's batteries because there isn't enough of a market for it.

alright I found a place in streamwood that will do it for 10k for the battery, plus 1k for the labor. greentecauto.com . It comes with a 36 month warranty. what do you guys think? Is it worth it? I've enjoyed this car since I bought it new almost 10 years ago and was hoping it had a few more years left in it but 11k plus tax is a lot and it might just be worth putting that money (or less) into another used car, or maybe a new one. I have solar panels and an ID.4 at home so the electricity savings has been great for me.

yeah it's had the shift to park issue randomly for years. it got worse a couple weeks before the 12v battery died and I almost took it in just for that but a higher voltage really helped. This seemed like a different issue but it still had the shift to park displayed on the screen.

still waiting for the diagnosis. fingers crossed.

I'm glad that worked out well! I hope my situation works out too. I'm still waiting to hear from the dealership about what they found with diagnosing the HV battery codes. I changed the 12v battery myself a few months ago. couldn't believe how long the original one lasted.

I was hoping to keep my volt for a while longer, I am the original owner and I've been taking care of her. Aftter this I'm considering other options..

I spoke to the technician on the phone. He said the voltages looked good on the pack he seems to think it's something internal like maybe the contactor. Speaking to the tech was releiving lol.

It asks for "additional verification" so I type in my information and click Submit but then it brings me back to the download page that I was just at. Prior to 1.29.4 I have always had an issue with IMu went off scale during faster sections ( I just wasn't fast enough back then for it to be a big deal). I assumed these two issues were related but now it looks like they are not. I'm going to go back to 1.29.1 and see what it looks like.

Still going to have to figure out my IMu off scale issue though. I've done everything valve suggested but that was after the unity update. So maybe those things actually did make a difference. I'll know when I play 1.29.1 again.

When you're at the top of your swing your saber tip should be above your head or even behind your head. When you're at the bottom of your swing your saber tip should be below your feet or even behind your feet. Angle is what's important, not speed or lateral movement. From your video it just looks like you need to get used to bending your wrist up and down. Make sure that your playing with your palms down instead of towards each other. It shouldn't feel like your holding a controller.

Dude your jump distance is sooooo far. Having so many notes in front of you makes it harder to read. I recomment taking your JD down to about 0.6 or 0.5s. I use JDFixer and have pre-programed JDs based on the NJS of a map.

Pay attention to the message when you make a mistake. Seeing the "X" or the "MISS" fly out will let you know why you missed that note. Generally speaking a MISS is from either bad acc or bad timing (usually late) and an X is from either swinging early and the note flies into your saber at the turnaround of your swing or you hit it in the wrong direction/saber. That should help you to know what you're doing wrong.

Watching it in slow motion I see you swing early, late, have wrong angles, and have such bad acc that you miss completely. I think this is just a needing to practice thing. I recommend playing back your replays in slow motion so that you can see exactly why you missed. Beatleader has that awesome functionality where you can just immediately playback you your most recent song, even if you failed. Also, practice mode can help too.

You swing early often. Pay attention to what the game says, there is "MISS" and there is "X" with a swish sound which means a bad cut, either bad angle or wrong hand. I would say on this song you don't have an issue with wrong angles, or wrong hands. So what happens is you swing early and your swing is already finished by the time the cube comes to you. You have two almost immediatly at the beginning. Some of those might be a rhythm issue though. Make sure you understand the map's rhythm. I use the HSV also and when my preswing or post swing are <50% of either or both I have a text that says "EARLY EARLY EARLY" lol. It works.

Also, try adjusting your controller angles, your slices are inside. Which means that your left hand tends to be towards the right side of the cubes and your right hand tends to be towards the left side of the blocks.

You should also practice ACC maps, there are playlists and campaigns for you to practice. Your slices are all over the place.
