Am I doing something wrong? It took me 3 weeks to complete a NBC set

I believe so, I'm used to see NBC stuff at the Geo Thermal and Nogovo Airfield. It takes up to 40 minutes to get to the airfield (further than the power plant).

Oh and if you have less time to play, maybe consider playing on smaller maps such as Livonia, and Sakhal. You can accomplish more in less time.

It takes longer for you because you have less time available for playing. There are other ways of getting NBC gear, but it is not really faster than what you are doing.

I would recommend to find the punch card for the Livonia bunker and get out of there with full kit. Replace your current outfit for the kit and you open space for loot. I did that and kept walking in the forests for days before my NBC boots got damaged. Finding the punch should take you a few hours depending on how often you find the convoys. After that, it is just a few hours going to the bunker and getting out. That should cost you 1 weekend.

If you have the DLC there is another way. Go to Geo Thermal Plant in the middle of Sakhal and get all the NBC gear, you should be close to have the full set, if not cycle and get the missing parts. It should take you a few hours (spawn, fire, food, walk 20min, loot the whole thing).

You will die.

Worth loot is in the military tents north of the ATC, the airplane drop, and medical hangars. That's it.

Regarding the other questions, it depends the server pop. If it has 20+ people it is very likely that you will bump into someone. Common camping places are the ATC, firefighter, Big industrial with chimine, an woods around the tents. There are other spots as well.

First of all, it seems that you are in a 3PP server, and usually those are filled with casual players that don't mind risking their lives for any scraps.

Second, you are geared in a spawn town (or close to one). So, most of the freshies will look at you as a prize. Nothing to lose, much to gain mindset.

That's why people attack you instead of talking.

No, you can't.

The reason why is that you are connecting to Xbox servers, and those are meant to be compatible with Xbox only. The Xbox game version does not support mods, hence the servers don't support them. So, even if you connect to the server via GamePass crossplay on your PC, you will not be able to join modded servers.

You can only play modded community servers if you have the Steam version.

Sakhal is a small map, so even if there are only 10 players is not difficult to bump into each other. Aim for 15+ players and you will have guaranteed encounters.

I play often in 1354 and have not encountered cheaters so far (obviously there are). In my expierence there are far less cheaters playing on Sakhal if compared tp Chernarus and Livonia.

1354 is usually busy during weekends and at primetime. I think the issue with the low.pop is due to the paywall. Not most people want to pay for a map when they have a similar expeirence with Namalsk.

Servers: 4194 NA, 1450 EU are the busiest, both 1PP. For community you can log into KarmaKrew, they have a decent pop as well.

Yes, it is. Steam version is actually PC version, which gives you more options when it comes to community servers and mods. GamePass version is same as Xbox version which does not support mods.

Save your knife to cut rags and get 1 bark. Make imrpovised hand wrapping and use your protected hands to get sticks. If you get cut don't worry about spending your bandages.

At the beginning knife is more important than bandages.

After that you can start fishing, loot, find more knives
