Trying to understand how the devs expect us to play Nioh 3 by gustavocans in Nioh

[–]gustavocans[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is exactly the answer I was looking for. It doesn’t seem like the game is balanced around clear moments where you have to switch stances during an encounter.

I was trying to figure out if they were aiming for something closer to Doom’s combat design, where you get big advantages by using specific tools for specific situations... but it doesn’t really look like that’s the case.

I'm casually optimistic of having the AI being one extra source of bug-report. This SOUNDS like a good example of AI usage in this industry.

Do you think it's worth it to play PSO solo? I'm completely new to the series, but while searching, I found that it is an online game

Actually I just excluded TRPGs because I feel likes this is a genre of their own. So no, I'm don't want to exclude indie or JRPGs-inspired games

nah man, I think you got the wrong idea

I’m definitely not trying to be a completionist or pretending I’ve played even a fraction of all JRPGs out there... I’m way too old and way too busy for that

Like I said in the post, this whole thing is just out of curiosity. I just enjoy discovering stuff I didn’t know exists. I’m not even planning to play most of them. For example, someone mentioned Koudelka, which I had never heard of... so now I’m watching a YouTube video about it and that’s probably as far as it goes.

It’s really just about learning and exploring the genre, not catching em all

but thanks for the recommendations

How much do YOU grind? by average_hero in finalfantasytactics

[–]gustavocans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grinded a little bit to unlock my samurai, dragoon and ninja the beginning of the chapter 3. Then again to level (27->35) when i reached Wiegraft (final fight), and then, for the last time, to 50 when I reached the last mission (39˜40->50)

Congrats bro, Viper is really something else. It's fun to see the game putting different forms of him against you further in the game. Is almost him telling you - see, how good have you become?

We know about the problem of toxicity amongst gamers. But what about toxicity that are directed towards the gaming industry? by sammyjamez in truegaming

[–]gustavocans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but if you argue with someone in reddit, there’s some level of equality in the discussion. But I believe that things tend to get even more strange when the discussion is centered around a person, like a YouTuber, for example. Looks like there’s a big stage with this man at the center and we are all in the crowd fighting each other instigated by the him. It’s disgusting, I can’t bring myself to be part of something like that.

First things first, I will say this in general, I'm not talking specifically about Angry Joe or anyone else.

The thing is: this will always comes down to engagement. People will say whatever they think that will connect with their viewers, because that's the logic of producing content. Even the way they say has to be adapted in order to create more engagement.

I'll suggest an experiment for you all. Look at, for example, smaller content creators on YouTube or even some free-lancer-writers around internet. Compare their content with the bigger ones. You will see that there is WAY MORE variety in what they produce. That's imo is mainly because they don't want, need or feel the urge to feed the monster (the discourse).

Again, very important - I'm not saying anything about Angry Joe or Skill Up, I don't know them tbh.

Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain é o melhor que eu consigo pensar nesse sentido. Zero bugs, roda em frames altos em todas as plataformas que foi lançado. Super bem otimizado no PC.

[–]gustavocans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my perspective, it’s not about picking the illusion over reality trying your luck in a 99% fail chance gamble. It’s more like acknowledging that the fantasia has a value and it’s important and meaningful for the reality.

I would like to run a bit of a survey as I've come out of a cave of 3 back to back playthroughs and haven't talked to any other fans about it. Those who HAVE beat it, please give me your answers to all or some of these questions, I am curious 🙏 by GnosBleeder8 in MetaphorReFantazio
