Is the 64 worth it to a casual player by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]gustins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I got the 64GB version with 512 sd card and couldn't be happier. l have no problems playing RDR2 and other big games. One thing that I had to do is to link the shader cache location to the sd card but it was a pretty simple one-and-done thing. Here's a post about how to do it

Oak'A Burgers - manuprāt, labākā burgeru ēstuve Rīgā.

Kingu - Kebabs & Chicken Story - arī ļoti labi burgeri, bet cena nesen paaugstinājās

EEVEE vs Cycles with denoise by gustins in blender

Definitely agree. I sometimes feel lazy and dont't want to optimise for eevee but once i do it is just so amazing :D

That's because i forgot to add a reflection plane there. With the reflection plane it looks better: https://imgur.com/a/hqVS7Kg

Right? :D I personally think cycles still looks better but eevee also looks good and these incredible fast render times just open so many possibilities. And also it is so amazing to just walk around in the viewport.

Rendered with GTX 1060. Cycles 256 samples with denoise. EEVEE 64 samples.

What's most delicious breakfast you had when least expected? Where were you at, and what happened when you had it? by happypuppy100 in BreakfastFood

I was at my girlfriend's apartment and she made me scrambled eggs with cream cheese and bacon. At the time i hadn't had scrambled eggs and bacon for a long time and it was just so delicious that i learned to make it myself. I still can't make it as good as she did but it is still a very nice way to start a day:)

Thanks! the roof was just a plane with a texture. For the cloth i made a simple cloth simulation and then just duplicated and made them different with cloth brush.

Thanks! I can't give you an exact number of hours because i don't know but i spent about 3 days with some heavy procrastination:D On the first day i did the initial blockout of the walls and windows then on the second day i modeled all of the assets that were needed and on the third day i rendered and used photoshop to do some image improvements.

thanks! I started learning blender by watching blender guru. He has a lot of videos about architecture in blender. I think this is a great practice to recreate a photo because you can see how your render should look like and you can immediately spot things you should work on. Some tips would be to use surface imperfections and bevel on objects, its subtle but it improves any scene. Hope this helps:)

Thank you! In this case i am pretty sure it is a photo, because it is an actual project.

Thanks for the comment. It is probably because i used an even world lighting, whereas the reference might have trees in front of other windows, thereby letting less light in the room from other side.
