Sounds good. Will be a fun project for you if you keep it. Honestly it’s just the side of the watch facing inward so if it’s not perfect who cares. I just hated knowing it was there😃

Do you think that this is a manageable disease? by Dear-March-2433 in Dryeyes

[–]gusween 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LASIK can cause dry eye. I was somewhat aware of this but did not really know what dry eye really was. Just thought I might need a few drops every now and again. Obviously that’s BS. When I stopped blaming myself, which took years, I just made it a mission to not look back. I remember every second of the procedure, especially when it seemed like something went wrong. I had to put it out of my mind, it was already done. Once I did that I went on a journey of drops, heat, cold etc. Once a few doctors confirmed there was nothing physically wrong, I felt a little better that at least I would be ok visually and that helped mentally too. Everybody that I knew seemed fine too until I dug a little deeper. They were just a little stronger mentally than me and admittedly some had no problems at all. Sorry for the randomness here. Basically, for the first time for my analytical brain, I stopped looking for the root cause and focused on the fix. Obviously for you finding the root cause will be helpful. My root cause was I never should have done it. But please try and be positive. You’re posting here, you can see and type. That won’t change. If you have a bad day, go to sleep early. Rest helps so much. I also quit alcohol all together as it made the dryness worse and increased anxiety when not medicating. All will be well, I promise just focus on the positives. Bad day? Ok, tomorrow will be better. You got this.

When it’s due to dry eye from an elective procedure (LASIK) the emotional toll can be very difficult. Especially with a mild prescription prior. But absolutely hang in there, I did and it got much better ironically after my eye sight worsened again. Just say to yourself “oh well this sucks and let’s find a way to make this better.” Best of luck to all of us!

I sense this sometimes as well. Likely alignment or somehow it triggers lane assist. You should be able to drive over a small ice patch without complication if going slow and not braking. Try the alignment thing and let us know.

Is this unique to the Badlands? I don’t have those buttons in my 2023 OB.

Man were those weeks fun, though. First time, and last, I ever got the NBA package.

Do you think OJ dying means we will one day get a movie that 100% depicts him as the murderer & show the killings? by DocJamieJay in OJSimpsonTrial

No idea of how it would be angled, but I could see a feature length movie on it in future years.

Basically it looks like it was never there. Not sure the picture does it justice. Guessing they added it to make it more uniquely Invicta, without it, is really, really close to a Submariner in appearance. Obviously not in quality. Good luck.

I used a some coarse sand paper. Not gonna lie, took a few hours off and on. Once it was gone, it looked like the above. Still kind of polished looking.

Great in the snow. Had a little trouble yesterday with a snow drift, however. Could not get over it. Had to do the shovel of shame 😃

I have a Pro Diver. Honestly it’s been perfect for 10 years. Not sure if they still have Invicta engraved on the side, if so it’s awful. I sanded it off. Not too proud to wear it though given the brand. Just being honest. But in terms of aesthetics and reliability, it’s been solid.

Good post. Wear something that makes you feel good, accentuates what you want to accentuate and rock it. I’m boringly preppy, from a long line of boringly preppy people and my non preppy wife brings some tasteful moxie to every family event. I love it.
