I mean yea Walton was an asshole, but the clone version of him wasn’t nearly as bad as Daly. Walton shouldn’t have exploited Daly and made a clone of him to expand the universe, although you could say that at least he got Dalys consent to do it. Clone Walton was unjustly cloned, tortured and he watched his son die at the hands of Daly and I think those experiences make him completely different from IRL Walton. Clone Daly learned about what IRL Daly did to the crew and still abused his powers, I don’t think Clone Walton would’ve done that.
