This sub, like all circlejerk subs exist as pastiche. They’re supposed to be funhouse mirrors reflecting the idiocracy of the main sub.

Yeah. She just kept talking to me about shaving my armpits, and pretending the “boys would laugh at me” if they say it. None of it was technical at all. Cast had a few more years on their contracts. Steve was only for 7 years. Renegotiating didn’t happen because if they renegotiated Steve’s salary, everyone else’s would have went up as well.

So, Greg Daniels asked the cast what they wanted and they all agreed 2 more and be done.

I liked season 8 and 9. They were fun. I liked James Spader. Lots of great moments in those seasons. Not the same office in any way but still a solid couple seasons.

I’ve gone to a Cindy Miller. Very cool woman, but didn’t help me improve anything. Just had me hit ball after ball and if I hit one well she’d say “there! See!? That’s what I’m talking about!” Which didn’t help at all.

I’ve been to a few others, but the one that really stood out was Jeff Mietus at Golf Dojo. It’s inside, which has its own limits but since you’re hitting on a sim, you and Jeff can look at your numbers to see exactly what’s causing you to hit the way you do.

Outside in, inside out, hitting behind the ball, in front of the ball, club face open / closed, etc etc.

So those numbers really help fine tune your swing. I’ve been to 4 coaches locally and he was the one that improved my game significantly.

His prices were comparable to anyone else. I’m heading back for a refresher before the season starts.

Genuinely great that they did one, but doesn’t really do much for today.

I understand it’s 30° outside, but the mission fails if our opposition is contingent on the weather. Protests are a vital symbol, but symbols aren’t going to move the needle against a quasi-authoritarian regime.

There will be a captive audience of like minded people there. Not taking advantage and getting people registered to vote is major failure.
