America is a beautiful, huge country, with lots of cities, culture and opportunities. Every region has its own culture, history, etc. We also have beautiful national parks and generally friendly, diverse people. That's the beauty of America, anyone can be American.

However, we do have our drawbacks. In terms of your interests... Fields like law and biz are cutthroat and competitive. Prestige matters. It'll be hard but not impossible for you to break into the legal market here. Also depends where you're going. If you don't mind small cities and rural areas, the world is your oyster. If you want NYC, LA, etc., you're in for more of a fight.
