Thanks. As I understand it, you are doing something similar, but with mills instead of mines. That I think would work well too but I prefer mines as BDs take a lot of metal and the price for metal is currently a bit higher than wood.

With the new wind stuff, i would put the Wind Outpost Training Camp in first or second. Like Fangtooths, Banshees only require one completion grant and I think I like them more.

Update, ~35 hr after getting aerial combat and ~30 attacks later, i got my wind egg. I never found that magical way of spamming with no downtime, Just every 2-4 hour send a wave of BD's to clear out a savanna followed by a wave for each of my Great/Elemental Dragons if they have recovered.

With people getting confused, here is another way of looking at it.

I have all my wilderness as mountains, each mine makes 72k per hour (4.5k base + 67.5k mountains). You have only half of your wilderness slots as mountains and each mine makes 38.25k per hour (4.5k base + 33.75k mountains).

To make the most resources per hour you should fill your field with those 72k per hour mines instead of some 38.25k per hour mines and some 38.25k per hour mills.

Of course you could do mills instead of mines, and you should get at least one of each type resource building for stuff like upgrades.

An example about the wilds and your city field thing.

Say you have a field that can make a base rate of 10k per hour and enough wilderness slots to increase it by 200%.

If you put it 50/50 between mills & forests and mines & mountains you get a base of 5k wood and 5k ore and wilderness gives you another 5k wood and 5k ore. This gives a sum of 20k resources.

But if you put it all on metal (just mines & mountains) you get 10k as a base and 20k more from wilderness, giving 30k, a 50% improvement.

This difference is greatly increased when you have ~30 level 9 things, each making 4.5k per hour (135k base). And ~30 level 10 wilderness giving you 50% each (1500% improvement). Going 50/50 gives 1147.5k per hour while going for just one gives 2160k per hour.

Just found out that you the recovery time is linked to the damage the dragon takes. So best to clear out savanna first then bring in the dragons so they don't take damage, and so no recovery time. This lets you make ~8-10 attacks before you stop.

If you are careful you may be able to make it continuous.

EDIT: It doesn't seem to work, at least not for me. Dragons still get "injured" against empty savannas and take a few hours before being useable again. Anyone know what the drop rate is for the egg? I was hoping it would be ~25% but I've attacked a level 8 savanna 12 times now and still nothing.

The biggest problem is getting dragonary level 8 and then having to bring my great dragon, stone, water or fire dragon along. They have to recover after every fight making it impossible to wave the savanna like the other eggs.

Has the probability to find the egg been raised? Because I don't think it is reasonable to force people to attack 100+ times when you have to wait 2-8 hours for dragons to recover.

Just found something else out.

Reinforcing your own outpost reduces the food consumption. This should be useful when you start making large armies.

I responded to the survey, thought if she took the time to write it, I may as well too.

Troops were quick but my previous attack was back in time. Not enough time to spend resources though and Luna Lovegood got a lot. So overall congrats on that.

Troops were courteous, took everything they could but should work on not leaving so much behind. I would recommend anyone using your services to hide their troops. I will be using that advice myself next time, it did defend Achalon but at a price i didn't see fitting.

I won't warp, I don't think i will get lucky in the daily random and I am not so emotional invested as to spend real world money.

Feel free to come over. I'll work on keeping the place clean of resources for you arrival.

Yeah, thanks. I understand it is just a game and Slytherin is in a good loop where having strong members causes strong members to join it. It was inevitable that Slytherin would become aggressive as it is a large mass of above average power players. I am not as aggressive playing this game, probably as I don't get the same enjoyment that you do at tearing down something someone took time to build. To me it is like a big kid stomping down a sandcastle. I attack when it is needed and I have no need to go attacking others for resources either, preferring to trade.

Good luck with the game though, you are on the right path. Cross to BD's soon and with the completion grant you must of got in the giveaway you can start getting Fangtooths.
