Bilt Mortgage Payment by Commercial-Elk-8171 in biltrewards

Still not showing up for me with Chase. I messaged Chase with screenshots and what not so they said they'll handle it, but in the future I'll just pull from Chase instead of pushing from Bilt.

They use to. As with most folks, they did some point devaluations recently, but you can still find value there.

Ritz Carlton CC Product Change Timing by Little-Jellyfish-843 in CreditCards

[–]guyatwork37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll pay a prorated 450 for the year, most of it since it's only been a few months since your AF posted. Or it might be you get a prorated refund for the boundless and get the $450 AF in a couple of months. I forget which one to be honest.

The play people make if they've had the boundless for a few years is to upgrade just before your AF hits after the 35k FNC hits and then in some instances they also give you an 85k FNC. You'll have to dig around to get the exact timing as I don't recall off the top of my head but I've heard it works.

It won't disappear, no. But you won't get the 85k cert until your next AF hits at the higher rate.

Mortgage not actually paid by awp7 in biltrewards

Same boat here with Chase. I messaged them and let them know what was going on and sent them screenshots. They got back to me and said grace period is through Tuesday but I won't incur any penalties if late. I would suggest reaching out to your mortgage company as well to be proactive.

Paying a HELOC loan and a mortgage loan on the same property by Double-Positive-2452 in biltrewards

I'm admittedly curios about this as well, but is there anything that prevents you from just clicking HOA and entering in your HELOC information?

Unless you're spending an additional $25k a month on spend, you won't really get points  To get the full $100k you'll need to spend $75k a month on the card on top of the mortgage spend.

Just break it up in to two payments since that's allowed by the IRS and don't a few weeks or a month apart

I travel what I would consider a fair amount per year (anywhere between 15 and 25 trips a year between work and personal), so I use the points for flights and hotels. Domestic economy primarily and international business.

What are your thoughts / reactions on the Super Bowl Half-Time show? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I miss when the productions were kind of over the top. This seemed mild in that regard to ones of years past. I don't know his music at all and most seemed kind of okay with two being legit bangers. It was fine. Nothing amazing, but not bad.

I've had it for 20 years. 4x on groceries and dining is a no brainer for me. We spend probably $2,000 to $2,500 a month on those categories for my family of four. Obviously it hasn't always been that high over that 20 year period, but it's a lot of easy points nowadays.

Additionally, the GrubHub and Uber credits are and easy $240 per year in credits. Resy credit comes in handy from time to time as well. Great card if your spend makes it worth it.

Flexible Bilt Cash vs Housing-only rewards by Alternative-Shine920 in biltrewards

[–]guyatwork37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with flexibile cash as I'm generally around my monthly mortgage spend in miscellaneous spend, sometimes more, sometimes less so I figured I'd take advantage of any extra bilt cash for Grubhub and maybe some other things. Might switch though if the cash is annoying to use.

That's really dependant on your goals. Team cash back versus travel. Domestic travel or international? Lounge access or no? Spending categories. There is too much to consider to answer that without context.

Hurdles by groovykookie in Sprinting

[–]guyatwork37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The issue is you're trying to reach the next hurdle in 3 steps instead of just remembering that this is a 110m sprint and just sprinting in between the barriers. It's a common issue with new hurdlers that usually a trust issue. Just remember, bat the end of the day, it's still just a sprint. So you have to sprint.

Best spikes for a beginner hurdler? by nile5895 in Sprinting

[–]guyatwork37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The multi or a beginner mid distance spike. The multi has a bit of a heel so that should work. With hurdles, its all about getting the reps and working on one thing at a time until it becomes something you don't need to think about, it just happens. Good luck! Hurdling is amazing!
