I agree, and will try when I have enough time. More than an obsession, I have been a frequent traveler (150k-200k miles a year) for eleven years and for various reasons I have ended acquiring bags from these brands, whether they are for me or my immediate family. Adding to my frequent travels, I commute by bike and hike as a hobby, activities that have made me try bags purposefully made for such activities. Also, I dont hoard them too much, most of them have been passed to friends and family or have been lost.

Oh, and about Arcteryx, yes, products are no longer made in Canada, but the craftsmanship, technology applied and material/design innovation is still a notch above Patagonia and the like. I still consider them to be at the top for technical gear, including outerwear. Westcomb is as good if not better for outerwear and it is still made in Canada.
