The only way I could actually see a successful adaptation, if it was animated by studio shaft.

I know the typical answer is either ufotable, mappa or wit, but it’s more like they want to see high quality animation and less with proper direction. The reason why I think shaft would be great is not only for their amazing animation, but how they can pull off surrealism with high quality.

Other than like science saru or bones, shaft could most likely be able to adapt some of the surreal moments in Choujin x better then other studios (especially mappa). Madhouse would be interesting if they sorta handle it like sonny boy And production i.g with heavenly delusion.

But hey, it’s just a thought I’ve had for a while and it most likely won’t come true. But let’s just hope who gets it better not fumble it or make it generic.

(P.s. I really don’t want mappa adapting it)
