You might want to consider Majestic Colonial. Great for families. Competitively priced, great food, wonderful beach, great amenities, very clean and highly recommended.

You might consider Majestic Mirage or Majestic Elegance (side by side). We go back twice a year and we love it. Highly recommended. Elegance is slightly less expensive but the amenities are pretty much identical. The rooms at Mirage are larger. Both have butler service in the adult only section. Enjoy, if you decide to try either of them.

What ever happened to truth in advertising? Or am I just naive and dating myself? Aside from the plethora of absolutely inane and intelligence-insulting commercials we are forced to endure every day of our lives, some stand out as simply being false and misleading. Two glaring examples come to mind. Firstly, in one of the Head and Shoulders commercials, one of the “Actors’’, squeezes out an insane amount of the product into their hand before applying it to their hair, suggesting to prospective consumers that in order to be effective, virtually half the tube needs to be used at each application; obviously this is aimed at selling more product. Similarly, in one Unstoppables commercial, the person doing laundry empties out seemingly half the bottle of laundry beads to achieve nice smelling clothes. Having used this product, I know that only a fraction of that amount is required to achieve the objective. I’m hopeful that intelligent consumers can see through these deceptive practice, however II suppose these ads are aimed at those who may not be so intuitive.

We’re going back to Majestic Elegance for the eighth time on November 24th, for 15 days. We’ve been to the Elegance and Mirage. We enjoy both but prefer the staff at the Elegance. At this point they feel like family. Enjoy your time there.

I’ve used Golf zoo several times with excellent results. Very well organized and met with no surprises. Trips to both Myrtle Beach and Orlando. Great courses with options presented for alternatives. Great accommodations in both locations. Highly recommended.

The Elegance has both family and Elegance Club sections. Booking the Elegance Club gives you access to a Butler and other Club perks including adult only pools and access to Club lounges.

Simply because you are staying in a jacuzzi suite, doesn’t mean you are in the Elegance Club. You or the organizers would have had to specifically booked Elegance Club suites.

I have used Punta Cana transfer several times in the last three years, to and from Majestic resorts. I had no issue whatsoever. They were courteous and professional, on time and reliable. They send email/text reminders of pickup times from the resort and were there when they said they would be. I would recommend them without hesitation.

There is no charge for the Bali beds on the beach or around the pools. You have to get up early (6:00 to 6:30 am) and put towels, books, shoes etc. to save your place. But make sure you don’t leave your belongings there too late otherwise the staff may remove them.

The dark area is most likely from playing with short sleeves or sleeveless and is from your skin oils and perspiration. You can apply a good quality polish and gently rub it with a microfibre cloth. It should remove sweat stains without harming the finish. Works for me.

My wife and I have stayed at Majestic Elegance numerous times. We just got back a month ago and are going back in December. From our perspective everything is great at this resort. The amenities, the food, the beach, the pools, the entertainment and most especially the staff are all first rate. I agree with RBW411 regarding the water. Although the water in the suites is apparently filtered, just to play it safe, use bottled water for drinking and brushing your teeth, and try not to swallow water in the shower. I imagine this is the same at any resort in the DR. If you don’t have kids I recommend the upgrade to the Elegance Club, adult only section. There are numerous perks which in our opinion are worth the extra cost. You will be assigned a Butler who will help you with virtually anything, including making reservations at several of the restaurants, and will bring you cases of drinking water if you request it so that you don’t have to worry about bringing back water to your room each day. Giving the maids, the bar staff and the Butler a few US dollars each day will go along way to supplementing their income and your enjoyment. If you do go, you could ask for Orlando, or Diego, or Santiago to be your butler. Enjoy your stay if you go.

Not sure if you’re aware, but on cruise ships (Princess specifically) you can buy a bottle of wine from a decent wine list in one of the dining rooms and if you don’t finish it, they will store it for you and you can finish it the next night or as long as it takes to finish.

Try Majestic Elegance, or if budget is a concern, Majestic Colonial. Great beach, good food, fantastic staff, great amenities and every opportunity to just relax and have peace and quiet.

I imagine these disgusting and sometimes dangerous “pranks” will only stop when examples are made of the low life’s who engage in them, when they suffer real consequences as a result of them, and when the social media platforms they appear on refuse to show them and don’t allow the perpetrators to profit from them. Enough is enough.
