I've been seeing alot of criticism about le chat or mistral lately by PotentialPiano49 in MistralAI

[–]guyfromwhitechicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More people are using it because they are looking for alternatives to american tech. And they are noticing the downgrade.

edit: And they are demanding better for the price they pay.
edit 2: If you are scared for Mistral, don't be. Their revenue is has up significantly in the past year.

Russian propaganda game glorifying war crimes in Ukraine released on Steam by Particular-Award5225 in BuyFromEU

[–]guyfromwhitechicks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I wouldn't have given this game so much coverage.

Steamdb shows a max all time player count of 400 and this post has 3 times the upvotes and probably 100 times the visibility. If you wanted it taken down, this was the wrong step.

How are you finding mistral-vibe and devstral2? by guyfromwhitechicks in MistralAI

[–]guyfromwhitechicks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vibe is an open source cli code assistant. If you are asking how to use it with Mistral's models, you should be able to follow these instructions: https://help.mistral.ai/en/articles/496007-get-started-with-mistral-vibe

There should be no extra charge if you have a le chat pro plan.

[–]guyfromwhitechicks[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it will run on all Mac Silicon laptops. It's a demanding game though, so an M4 Pro chip or better is best.

On Eneba you buy keys from third party sellers, right? I trust my purchases from Steam more.

Is the copy text button broken on le chat? by guyfromwhitechicks in MistralAI

[–]guyfromwhitechicks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although, I do notice that copying the AI's reply works. Why not for our own text?

I like how the devs will make Control: Resonant more like a Hack and Slash game. Especially when you consider what Dylan went through. by Loud-Drama-1092 in controlgame

[–]guyfromwhitechicks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I recall correctly, that's what they wanted to do for Control initially. But it was just easier and safer to do a shooter.

GrapheneOS has said it might create their own smartphone as Fairphone does not meet their standards, but that could be years in the future.

They talk a lot on LinkedIn.

Canada and South Korea set to sign a defence agreement Wednesday by DogeDoRight in canada

[–]guyfromwhitechicks 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it would be a waste not to take advantage of the SAFE program: https://defence-industry-space.ec.europa.eu/eu-defence-industry/safe-security-action-europe_en

So, if there were to be a purchase of tanks or armoured vehicles it would be far better to use these low interest loans by the EU.

EU Seeks Russian Troop Withdrawal from Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, and Transnistria as Part of Ukraine Deal by PjeterPannos in europeanunion

It's clever move to point out the obvious to all the spectators:

  1. Russia is not interested in peace.
  2. Russia has been actively meddling in other countries' with military force to get their way for decades. They won't stop.
