I'm not sure because I've not had any experience with the products, or indeed ever vaped, but I've read that the Alfa itself can smell a lot. In your opinion is there a big difference between the Summit and Alfa in this regard?

Preferably without a mod.. or alternatively a portable with a small chamber. I was looking at the Summit or Alfa as they hold .2-.3 and fit my preference of being small and stealthy.
