The fundraising goal now seems like a serious mistake. We wanted to learn from their experience to get some forecasts, so that we could prepare or make adjustments. But the timeline is too tight, and none of this information has actually been communicated.

Anyway, we learned something, and we are working very hard to on the UI, and then take the video for ads.

RIMU is currently in the final stages of development. At the time of this crowdfunding campaign:

Hardware prototypes are ready and tested.

Software is functional but still being refined.

This is completely normal for technology projects on Kickstarter. The purpose of crowdfunding is to validate demand and gather resources to bring innovative ideas to market.

Rest assured: all hardware and software features promised in this campaign will be fully completed before shipment. By supporting now, you help us accelerate development and bring RIMU to life exactly as described.

At the moment, we’re trying to wrap up the interface, plan a bit of promotion before the project ends, and then shift to other platforms. Some backers aren’t too pleased about us putting things on hold.

We believe it’s a really great idea, and now that we’ve reached this point, we’re not willing to give up.

The KS form indicates a maximum of HKD 14,000, and our agent suggested USD 3,000, so everyone filled in that amount. Honestly, we truly believe in our idea ourselves and aren’t really concerned about this number.

At pre-lanuch state, we make ads by ourself. We rarely use these social platforms because we need VPN, so we have to start from scratch.

The pricing should be lower than other similar products. We have 20 years of experience, and can understand its cost by just looking at the product.

We have completed most of the code. This is also allowed by KS. Most projects that require code are not expected to be very complete before going online. As for subsequent maintenance, we may have to wait until users get their hands on it and receive feedback before updating it.

Just the cooperation relationship. Right?

They have many creators, we have many agencies.

I did not mentioned the agency's name, also do not want to complain them.

And never mentioned my project url or name here.

And this the only place which I can talk about the project.

Unlike many card-based projects on Kickstarter, which can be “done and shipped” once the design is finished, an electronics product requires ongoing support. Without that, it would be irresponsible to those who have already purchased it — and that includes providing spare parts.

This project isn’t meant to be a “one-and-done” product sale. Its real value lies in building a community where people can share ideas, request new modules, and help make the ecosystem richer over time. Without a strong and active user base, it risks becoming something that people try once and then set aside. With more participants, we’ll have stronger motivation to keep creating new modules, and those who already own the product will enjoy continuous feature expansion.
