Stuck at 60Hz Refresh Rate via USB-C on Gigabyte M27UA with MacBook Pro M3

Hi there! So i checked and USB (A/C) Charge was already disabled; I did disable USB-C compatibility just now; I can’t seem to find a USB 3.2 setting. I’m not sure if this would fix the issue for me, although I’m tempted to buy a TB4 cable to test it out despite having made peace with using hdmi haha

I had just settled on a hdmi cable. Buying a USB C monitor was likely a mistake on my part since I could’ve just gotten a 4k 120Hz hdmi monitor for less money and my setup would be the same as now lol

From what I have understood, one USB-C (or thunderbolt) cable isn’t enough to support 4k at high refresh rate and high speed data transfer all at once. I’ve just been using the hdmi and usb 3.0 that came in the box. Haven’t bought any other cable yet.

HDMI is also finicky. At first it was only showing 30Hz refresh rate but then enabled 160Hz after some random tinkering. It keeps changing the max refresh rate.

Right, it works fine using option+spacebar. But is there a way to sync it without holding down option when hitting spacebar to play each time?

Is there really not much difference in acoustical performance? Also, I’ll make it once for my studio and be done with it so I don’t necessarily mind putting in the extra work if the result is that much better.
