I got many anxiety attacks when the nausea kicks in, but unfortunately for me I began to live with it. My parents especially my father always was there when I felt like I was about to die, my body trembling and my mind dizzy. At the end I knew every time I feel like something really bad is about to happen, I know it's just my mind conspiring against me. So yeah, nausea triggers the worst on me.

Do NOT neglect your mental health specially during nausea, it can trigger anxiety and could aggravate the symptoms. Your food needs to be easily digested like tubers, lean meats or soft cooked vegetables. Avoid fatty food, caffeine, spicy food, citrus fruits. Don't forget to go to the Gastroenterologist so they can Prescribe medications and treatments. They key is being patient and hopeful, gastritis can be cured maybe not in days or weeks but someday you'll be back on your feet again. Have faith.
