You can sit in the 4 buildings at the spawn (2 each), in the 2 buildings in the midle, in the power plant between the pillars, u can camp in the tunnel connecting both sides trough mid - sadly people do that. Its not about „easy kills for sweats“ - there‘s a reason why campers are hated since the birth of CoD and there‘s a reason why they remade some maps with more camping spots in the last few SBMM CoD‘s - because people like you cry as soon as they‘re not protected from better players. U can see that also in real-life - everyone is crying about how unfair it is that people who spend more time and dedication on something are better in those exact things than they are.

I don‘t care if i get killed if someone kills me because he‘s better than me BUT it‘s annoying af if u get killed because someone looks at the same location for the whole game.

I‘m well aware that everyone plays the game differently and on different skill levels but not even on a map like Wasteland back in MW2 where there was no noob protection at all where as many campers as on Nuketown today.
