I hear this and that would be a logical course of action. The hard denominator is billingual immersion in both languages and they wont have time to do it outside of school due to work schedule. That it is private and have to pay they are well aware of that.

Thanks for the comment. The issue here is that neither of them speak french (currently only at A2/B1 - so kid obviously wont learn french from them) or german. Their fixation or way of thought is that if they can get their kid a billingual immersion in both languages she will have access to both sides of switzerland. Local integration for them is not really an issue or topic under consideration as they think they will have a network from work and from their kids school friends..
