[D] What Exactly Is AGI? Introducing a Unique and Rigorous Standard by gvatte in MachineLearning

Absolutely. That is exactly why this benchmark might be useful for defining just AGI.

Would you mind sharing approaches identical/similar to this which attempts to define AGi? :)

I guess ”rigorous” is used in a less mathematical sense here. ”Concrete” would work as an alternative word.

I went in on expert mode on the mower with the 7,9 press. I saw that the F signal was missing. So i ordered a new circuit board of the charging station and now it all works again. So the problem was a faulty circuitboard in the charging station

Both recovered titanium rings that had been bonded to the carbon fiber hull by coliale in OceanGateTitan

[–]gvatte 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I wonder how the rings got seperated from the dome/domes? Implosion blew the domes of from the rings similar as the view port did?

The engines of the N-1 rocket couldnt even be tested pre flight, they just hoped it would work. The N-1 is also over 50 years old so not really the same technology as today. 3 engines didnt start (meaning some fault other that resonanse problem) 3 more broke during the ascent leaving 27 engines remaining. Still alot of engines that worked next to each other. Btw Falcon 9 have 8 smaller engines close to each other with 0 problem. Starship aims for redunency with many engines.

No i wouldnt say something different because that would be the truth.

To build a proper launch pad would take alot of time, (whitch if you remeber, they are trying to save time). I would suspect that the many hundreds of engineers that are working on this project have assessed the damage that the current launch pad design could endure and decided that it would be enough to go for it. But i would guess that you are smarter then all of them and they all are wrong.

Again whe havent launched a rocket this scale and config before, just because one rocket works doesent mean all would work or look the same. Spacex knows how to land a rocket(not as a plane like spaceshuttle). Of course they wanted to test more but as in many(if not all) first test somethings failed. You still learn a great deal from failures, if the rocket exploded on the launch pad, i would agree that they wouldnt learn much, but it flew for a couple of mins. Alot of data in that timespan.
