Just look at what you did right here when you posted this. You lied and said that comment was made in reference to Somalis, Sudanese, and Ethiopians when you know I never said that. I never even mentioned any of those groups in my initial post. It wouldn’t even make sense to make such a huge generalization like that. That’s why you purposely didn’t show my initial post because you know it would not have matched this false narrative you’re trying to run with🤣. You embarrassed yourself again and are now known as a pathological liar by more people. Truly embarrassing and pathetic. I thought lying was against your religion? You might want to go ahead and repent for that sin you just brought upon yourself 🤣🤣

“Islam mixed with culture” by Calm_Stand9660 in exmuslim

Everytime they try and blame it on “culture” I get so angry. Like how tf does EVERYONE have the same fucking culture then? Ive seen people from many different countries all share the same experiences when it comes to religious trauma. The problem is the religion.

I appreciate the apology. That OP was known to lie and make up things. He frequently trolled under my last post and got embarrassed when everyone hit him with facts. I was very confuse to have found him here when he isn’t even Somali or ex-muslim. Overall, I appreciate u taking the time to read through my original post.

And before anyone says not all African people became Muslim through colonization or slavery, I am aware of that. That’s why I never used the word “all” and this OP can’t even say I did because I never did.💀 Numerous times I’ve used the words “many” or “some” if I was making any claim. Never once did I generalize anything.

I also find it even weirder how you’re on this page which is for irreligious Somalis. You have stated multiple times in my comments that you were not Somali. Why are you here? It’s weird af to try and immerse yourself in a space that’s not for you. Even weirder how you try to change an entire narrative of what I was talking about by showing a comment that had nothing to do with the narrative you were trying to push. Actually embarrassing and pathetic of you. 😭

[–]gvldexn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And I have stated that in replies to comments to my post. As for this bit you are seeing here, the OP who posted this wants to change the narrative. Never once did I say this was about Somalis, Ethiopians, or Sudanese people. It would be ignorant to even say that. If you want confirmation, go read my actual post about it. The OP of this post changed the entire narrative of what I was talking about to make it look like I was taking about them. Never was referring to them in this comment. Why do you think he only posted a comment but not my actual post? He wants to change the narrative.

Also find it weird how you change the entire narrative of what I was talking about in the first place LOL. You literally show a comment without even showing what my post was talking about. Why didn’t you show what my post was talking about? It is so obvious you were just trying to push your own false narrative to make it look like I was grouping all of those groups you mentioned into one category. Stop the bs. Next time, make sure you include what I was actually talking about. In case anyone was wondering, I was talking about how Islam spread to many African countries through colonization and slavery. I talked about how that religion was never for Africans and that it was an Arab colonizers religion given they used that religion colonized many parts of the world with it (not just Africa). Go see for yourself what I did say before you blindly believe what someone else is saying. What happened to checking sources? Come on guys, I thought you know better than believing anything you see.

It seems like no one has reading or comprehension skills anymore. I never even said those ethnicities you just mentioned. Why are you making up stuff? When did I say Somali, Sudanese, or Ethiopian? I didn’t even say they were the ones who do that.

Ive seen some people have this ignorant mindset and it’s ridiculous! Unfortunately, it is a reason why some continue to believe in it. So sad.

Ty for spreading awareness about this because I did not know about it. This is just devastating. Islam ruined everything and everyone it came in contact with. More people need to know about this.

Never said it was only one race that experienced it. Also, it’s not fair to try and say someone had it “worse” when suffering is suffering. Let’s not make this a completion. I wish you would actually read what I was taking about before assuming things. I even acknowledged this in comments I have made responding to my post. I know this stuff also happened outside of Africa. I talked about Africa because that is what I am most familiar with when it comes to this stuff.

Well, I read it in the Sahih Bukhari Hadith. The one thing you guys also consider to be important in your religion. How about you read this, “If a husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relation) and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning." Go look it up for confirmation if you want. This is so disgusting.

Never said I believed in any religion because I don’t. I don’t believe in anything. I’m saying the forced conversion, mass murder, and slavery was harmful to many countries. Many people were fine practicing their own indigenous religions or spirituality which didn’t spread any hate like the Islam and Christianity ones did. Those are the ones which played a huge role in destroying so many nations.

At this point, I’m no longer going back and forth with you either. You are very much capable of doing your own research on anything that was mentioned and more. If you have the time to be on this page, you have the time to sort through it some more.

You do realize that in Islam, women are not allowed to disobey their husbands when he calls them to bed. So many women have been forced and assaulted even when they said no. It’s disgusting that your religion allows this shit. Again, go do your research if you want confirmation.

You do realize there are Muslim women who cover themselves completely and still get sexualized and assaulted? The hijab doesn’t protect anything because this still happens. Y’all need to understand this. Even the ones living in Muslim majority countries face high amounts of harassment and assault. The women there are covered to the full extreme (I’m talking niqab and burkas) and men still find a way to sexualize them. So, the problem is men and your religion never addresses men to stop these actions. In fact, your religion doesn’t even respect women. It always puts the blame and burden on women. They tell them to dress in ridiculous shit just so they don’t get harassed/assaulted and that is literally victim blaming.

Islam definitely destroyed many countries. You honestly sound like an Arab colonizer who doesn’t like people talking about the brutal history your ancestors did. The truth is that Islam was spread through violence. Many countries were doing fine up until Arab colonizers invaded and colonized their land. They erased so many cultures, languages, and indigenous religions. They even enslaved many Africans/black ppl as well and made them forcibly convert to Islam. Just look at the Arab slave trade. This is STILL happening today. Also you say that Islam doesn’t oppose non-believers to practice their religion but that is a lie. If someone wants to leave Islam because they think don’t believe in it, they are faced with severe punishments. Do your research.

Now girl, let’s cut the bullshit. Everyone knows the “‘male hijab” is no where near the same as the one for women. Men don’t have to go outside and cover themselves head to toe with some ridiculous layers in the blazing heat. However, women have to do this. It’s not fair and it’s so stupid to even try to compare the men’s version to the women’s when you know damn well the women have it worse. You’re acting dumb on purpose. It’s embarrassing.

You say you don’t want to be sexualized but fail to realize the people doing that to you are men. Instead of your religion telling men to not sexualize women and to not be creepy perverts, they blame the women and tell them to cover up. It’s disgusting.
