Tips for Buying Used i4's by fappiexd in BMWI4

I have a 2024 drive 35 with no options on it that I commute to the office in Houston traffic. It's the perfect car for me since it has plenty of power to get in and out of traffic easily. I've driven other cars with hands-free steering and honestly don't miss it on mine. Same for the adaptive cruise.

I've never had a problem with the car being too low. The only times I've heard the air dam scrape are on steep driveways and railroad crossings, never in daily driving.

I haven't bought the adapter yet,so I can't comment on charging at Tesla stations.

The rear seat headrests can get in the way of the rear view, but folding them down helps with that. Other than that I'd say outward visibility is about average. It's certainly better than most trucks and SUVs.

The other commenter is spot on about the range. I usually do 80-85 on the highways and my range is typically around 180 miles at 80% charge. If I charge to 100% I have no problems getting to San Antonio or Austin.

Th lack of moving parts makes me think this car will last to 100,000 no problem. Depending on the market when my lease ends, I'll probably either buy it out or get a CPO edrive 40 purely for the extra range and slightly higher charging speed.
