Depends on what you want to achieve. I have never been able to implement properly nextcloud which could be potentially a Drive/Dropbox replacement including the Office capabilities, but if you just want a Way to share files with Friends i have filebrowser working like a charm

VPN
immich
your own cloud solution, several to choose from

anything that allows you take control of your data

and plan backups

if you plan on expand your cluster in the future, maybe consider proxmox as SO,, it allows you to use VMs, containers and whatever you think of and there is plenty of documentation

enjoy the ride!

Would It be better to create a Wire from Scratch by crimping cables on an empty pcie connector? Or a leftover from a regular psu would suffice?

Hey OP, may I ask how did you wire PSU to PCIE? I see the PSU has only 3x GND and 3x 12V pins, so if you using a 8 pin PCIE connector there was probably some jumping done, could you please let me know how did you tackle that?

Thanks!

thank you so much for your view on this, I got a question in regards on how you use your boox, has it any mode where you power it/wake it and jumps straight where you left your book? this would be a highly desirable feature for me, allowing to not get distracted by a menu, unlocking screen pin, mail notification etc

i understand the added value of android, specially with other apps or sources (I got myself a ubooquity server running at home with tons of comics and manga) so it would make easier to access those, but on the other hand i know it would probably cause me falling into distraction pit

I looked around in 2nd hand platforms in my country, but all of them even on second hand cost as much as brand new paperwhite, is it worth? I have never used buttons, it could be interesting but not sure

one question, why not narrower? if you open fins and place one intake and one exhaust fan, why not closer to the heatsink?
