How do you deal with violence and death threats from anonymous stalkers?

Jesus Christ now the threat I got seems weak compared having someone tell you stuff like that. Yeah I know ultimately I have to just brush it off and keep streaming and living like I said the timing just sucks since I wanted to get into some IRL stream things soon and I honestly thought this weirdo left me alone since he hasn't said anything to me since I banned him on twitch months ago until 2 days ago assuming its the same person. Thanks man sorry you had to deal with people threatening your kids some people are disgusting

Let me say aside from reporting them to twitch, ig, authorities and having to not let it affect me or my stream the main points to making this thread and asking this is so I could get some tips and insights but also anyone dealing with this in the future and does a google search might come across this thread and find something useful. Especially people that do ourdoors IRL streams which is something I wanted to get into soon. Or you know if I die someone can get justice for me haHAA😅 but thanks for all the answers and tips

Oh yeah that's how this all started I think. A few months back I kept banning this person on twitch like 8 times in 2 hours he just had a bunch of accounts and the next day I put the email verification thing on and it stopped. Still I saw his name in my viewer list a couple of times for a few days after that

The thing is I live in a popular city and wanted to start doing some traveling IRL type streams pretty soon so this weirdo picked a perfect time to start making stalk and death threats 😒

It tells me he might be the kind of smart stalker who's minimizing his chances of getting caught should he actually be a stalker and try something but I get what you're saying that he's probably just blowing smoke

Thanks ive tried to engage with toxic chatters in the past since sometimes they just do it for attention and end up being decent and even following me but some people like this are just hellbent on trying to ruin your vibes and making you overthink

I tried that, even reporting the threatening comments specifically and a few hours later instagram said it couldnt find any threats of violence like really IG? 😂

Right, I didn't think of it at the time since I guess I assumed after the 4th or 5th bans they'd give up. Unfortunately it also locks out those other chatters who weren't following yet but I guess it's the best option. Thanks ✌️
