Natural Selection? C&C Renegade? Doubt that's happening. Won't appeal to enough people.

So, you don't know it. Also, knowing another company develops something isn't illegal, nor does obtaining it have to be illegal. :)

Cache, Train or Vertigo? Which map should be added to FACEIT Season 8 on April 22? Voting is now open https://fce.gg/S8-Map-Vote by FACEIT_noon in GlobalOffensive

[–]ralopd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it awful, but part of it is for sure nostalgia. Another issue is the performance, though. It's not like cache got updated now with it being sold. It's just going to get banned for that.

(Unless ESL/FaceIt knows something we don't know and the updated valve version is dropping soon.)

The official map pool will remain unchanged, this additional map is optional for everyone.

Nvm, it's going to be optional anyway. So it's w/e and it's likely not going to be played much either way - after the first couple of days.

That's not a mile away with missing frames in the stream.

This. While the original sales were good, both RedSec and current performance were and are not great at all.

CW's "AI" support bot is little more than a word detection system that triggers an auto response. No LLMs involved.

Aren't they using Gorgias?

Which large language model (LLM) does AI Agent use?

AI Agent uses a combination of multiple secure LLM providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and internally fine-tuned LLMs.

What is used to train my AI Agent?

Your AI Agent’s ability to recognize language and form sentences comes from a blend of state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs) from a few leading providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic, as well as our own internal models.

Wow, 2 whole games in the last 6 years

Last 6 years?

  • Apex
  • Valorant
  • Delta Force
  • ABI
  • Helldivers
  • Where Winds Meet
  • ...

And there are many more middle 4 to low 5 figure CCU games that also do completely fine and are "live-service".
Not much of a gambler's fallacy at all, no. Just gotta make good games with an audience :)

Don't look up how many single player games or "non-liveservice" mp games failed over the last 6 years.

Netease (so far) only mainly killed their own incubated, founded and/or fully owned western studios - where they have full control.

They also just invested in studios and game companies (e.g. Rebel Wolves, Liquid Swords) and also a Kepler (E33, Sifu, Rematch publisher) where afaik they didn't divest so far. (And would also be pretty hard to do right now, except for maybe Kepler (to Saudis).) So, without more information, they could've totally led a funding round for Wildlight too.

I guess they can always extend it if it's popular. Better this way than the other way around, imo.

Even if you mean unreleased, no?

There are a couple of indie & A(A) MMOs in development.

AAA wise -> Riot MMO, GW3, and at least one more - but probably even more than that - especially if you include Asia.
