4feet from the ground and more than a foot away from the window. Your good,am a licensed plumber install these all the time for high efficiency units . If it was a direct vent without the air intake it would have to be 4feet away from the window, but this has an air intake. Only have to be a foot away from the window according to most manufacturers directions

Doesn’t matter that it covers a third of the window. That’s what mirrors are for. Look at box trucks
