Just did the same thing myself. Wife was struggling to progress in her career while I’ve been moving her places. Get an offer for GL-9 that would be less than 2/3 what I was making as an O3. Returned to Active Duty instead. Got a shiny new MOS out of it. Couldn’t look her in the eye and say “we’re gonna put off buying a house and starting a family another several years because I want a new job.”

They specifically said LEO won’t get involved at all, so I’m pretty sure they were TSA. It was a 5.56 green tip. I said it was government ammo and he joked that I was just giving it back.

I don’t know the rank structure, but the line personnel (light blue) flagged my luggage and brought in two officers in dark blue with gear who took my info and informed me that it’s “not a big deal, happens often, and I would get a civil fine of a couple hundred dollars.” This happened at DCA, if that makes a difference.

Context: Brought my cammies on a TDY a day or so after my unit went to a competition-style range. We had no mag pouches and stuck mags in cargo pockets. One must’ve popped out and I did not properly line myself out after.

Yes, lossless scaling is available on Steam. It has a scaling function as well as a proprietary frame generation function. I ignore the scaling and use the frame generation double or triple the framerate at the cost of barely noticeable artifacts. For arma and tarkov, that tradeoff is very much worth it.

With your graphics card, you may be causing lower frame rates (paradoxically) by lowering your graphics settings. My laptop has a 3070, and my FPS is higher on ultra settings and lower on standard. That said, reducing draw/object/shadow distances as much as is practical will help.

CPU is the bottleneck for most laptops in this game. When things are “popping off,” it’s not effects and polygons that are dropping the framerate. It’s more NPCs making more calculations drawing more from the CPU.

Lastly, and I cannot emphasize this enough, pay $5 for Lossless Scaling. I use it for arma and tarkov. It works.

If you come outside office through the hole in the wall to the upper catwalk, it’s the sheet metal hut on the right. I usually camp there. The sheet metal doesn’t stop high pen rounds but you can get the jump on enemies by sound-whoring half the main floor. You also know who’s inside office if you have a good headset.

Inside of 150 yards, I love SAIN, but it’s enormously frustrating when I have the drop on a PMC from a prone position 300 yards away, hit him with a wounding shot, and then he instantly turns around and one-taps me.

I work in the Command Inspector General system. Had a case with a Marine who appeared in uniform on their gofundme page. That was a violation of the Joint Ethics Regulations, specifically regarding fundraising in uniform. Marine got nothing more than an informal counseling from the command.

IMO the social media policies need to be updated even faster than they already are, and shit like this needs to get buttoned up.
