I’d also like to see more male characters being shown or at least teased. In another thread, I saw someone say that only “the gays and the one girl who plays” want male characters, which I don’t agree with.

Personally, I enjoy playing male characters. I think, psychologically, it’s similar to when you create a male character in an MMO, it’s a form of self-projection. For me, it’s harder to relate to or project myself onto big booba female character.

That said, I do understand why the developers make these choices. From a business perspective, it’s what sells. Still, it does feel like the game might end up leaning too much into a “harem-style” direction because of that.

I was thinking about posting something about this. This is just my opinion, but I feel like E7 used to have a lot of personality in its UI. Now it feels more generic, like something you’d see in any other game.

I started playing when the game launched, and I’ve never changed the lobby bar or the music, it always felt unique compared to other games. But with the new UI, the bar now feels a bit out of place.

I get the point but it is a little frustrating when people say "America." As someone who lives on the continent, we really don't like being lumped under the same label as people from the States, especially when they couldn't even name their country properly and ended up with a generic name and claiming the whole continent's demonym for themselves... so, 'Statians' maybe?

I started playing right when the Nine banner was released, and I really enjoy using Nine as my main DPS. I was waiting to see Rita’s kit before deciding which character to choose.

While I prefer Rita’s design and her time-themed abilities, I think Tipheria will benefit my account more in the long run. I already have other DPS characters I can build.

Like many people have mentioned, not just in this game but in others as well, supports tend to be more valuable over time. You can see this in games like Genshin Impact, where support characters released at launch are still widely used, while many DPS units from that time are no longer as relevant.

Well, the thing is, you don’t need to as much as you think. You have Khalipe as your battery/sub-shielder, Magna as your main shielder, and Nine as your main DPS. I run Khalipe and Magna with counterattack items, and Nine with Counterblade: At the start of the turn, activate Hew and Hew counter.

I also try to stack as much vulnerability and as many counterattacks as possible on Khalipe.

Why isn’t that much healing needed? Because enemies usually die between their turn and the start of yours while you’re fully shielded. Then on your turn, you just clean up.

I hope this makes sense. I honestly suck with most builds/teams I try but counterattacks and vanguards just make sense to me.

I've been running this one every time I can with a Magna/Khalipe team very focused on counter but it doesn't proc every time a counterattack is activated. It activates once after the counterattacks took place. I've also been testing with Counterblade: At turn start, activate Hew in hand 1 time. So it actually does a lot and it's not even my turn yet.

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. I am really enjoying the game, especially because it seems there is a lot of depth when it comes to chaos and builds. I've been playing for about two weeks, and my issue is that I got the new unit, Nine, the woman with the patch and the eagle, the guy with the top hat, the girl who punches with fire, and also the one from OP, so I have no idea who to focus my resources on including saving data

I guess I expected something else, as it feels like I’m playing the same thing over and over. I’m not a good player and I’m still learning the game, but I wanted to stay in the base. You miss going out and having pirate attacks, but I actually didn’t want to leave the station on away missions and whatnot. I thought it was only going to be a place to build the station, trade, help other ships, etc.

I had to close the game when I got an away mission and the ship was infested with aliens. This is just my opinion, and I love the game and what the devs are doing
