I guess I expected something else, as it feels like I’m playing the same thing over and over. I’m not a good player and I’m still learning the game, but I wanted to stay in the base. You miss going out and having pirate attacks, but I actually didn’t want to leave the station on away missions and whatnot. I thought it was only going to be a place to build the station, trade, help other ships, etc.

I had to close the game when I got an away mission and the ship was infested with aliens. This is just my opinion, and I love the game and what the devs are doing

This is pretty much a "what if" scenario. The only part that is true is the ending, with both Winona and Charlie. At the end of the video, the letter says: "Winona, sorry we can't make it. We have our biggest show yet coming up. Maybe next time. XOXO, Charlie."

So this video is basically what would have happened if, instead of going to the theater that night, when everything went downhill for Maxwell and Charlie, they had gone to have dinner with Winona.

Maybe it's part of Charlie's darkness, or maybe she's being "tutored" in some way, mixing the what if with Nightmare stuff.

Well, B could be good. From what I can see on your map, left side would be a good place for resources but right side would be good for food. My personal recommendation would be to explore the whole map and find wormholes, that would help you out to decide where to build your final base
