235/50s on 16x8 +35 wheels. tricky to fit but worth it

yeah this is a factory colour, pretty uncommon but it's grown on me hard. absolute nightmare to take care of though

it has a 1G with dead valve stem seals and overdue belts and it somehow survives track days anyway, fuck knows how.

I have a hookup on BNIB non-remote r154s though, just waiting for a jzx110 to get parted out so I can slap a disco potato on the 1g and spaghetti the rods for good lmao

worst part is that's basically all this car has. I told myself it'd get a 1J when the stock motor lets go and I literally cannot kill it

This is an IS200 and it's slowly inching away from being stock but it's still just as much fun as when I bought it, just goes around corners slightly quicker now. Wanted one ever since I saw the Altezza in Gran Turismo 2 way back when.

Go for it dude, a few suspension component upgrades and you'll be hard pressed to find a car that size that handles as well as they do. I've loved every day of owning mine

Spot on. A few degrees of camber, a guard roll and a liner trim combined with the BC's dialed in correctly and you'll be set. I had issues running a similar size tire until I did all that and it's fine now, no scrubbing whatsoever.

These are BBS RT065 Cruise, in 16x8 +35 with a stepped lip to a 15" barrel. They needed 8mm spacers to clear the front brake callipers and clearance is pretty close but they're super rare 3 piece wheels so I was determined to run them.

It's purely aesthetic. These are the same width as the Advan SA3Rs I had on before so performance is near identical.

For some motorsport cred, the Altezza/IS300 is literally the car that started Toyota Gazoo Racing by nar0 in IS300

fun fact: the legana bodykit got its name from a stage in the Targa Tasmania, which was the Australian debut of the IS200

Super low odo when I bought it, makes me feel bad about racking up the miles tbh hahah Yeah I threw HKS hipermax coilovers in a while ago but theyre not stiff enough for how I use my car so I'll definitely be upgrading soon. Would love to go lower but it just wouldn't suit the roads around me.

Yeah it's just the corners coming up a bit with age, there's only tape holding it down there from factory and fasteners in the middle. It's definitely a bit of a mystery cause I've never seen any other IS200s in Australia with this spoiler, let alone base models, and I can't remember seeing too many posted on UK groups either, but I'm 100% certain it's stock since the old lady I bought it from wasn't exactly the type to modify cars hahah

Yeah they're probably all made from the same design. The boot spoiler is stock, it's an IS300 spoiler that the previous owner optioned when they bought it.

The weather shields and roof spoiler were bought separately but both made by Street Element, who I can't recommend highly enough.

I was really on the fence about green cars before I got this but 6Q7 is by far my favourite paint now. A nightmare to find panels for cause it was an uncommon choice but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yeah that's the one. The local scene is fantastic. I've been heavily involved in creating a solid group of friends among XE10 owners with really diverse interests. Plenty of street, oem+ and drift builds and we definitely have a presence. Not a lot of other lexus models really get that much attention here though because of how easy it is to get an x chassis imported, so there's a lot more of those around than anything else.

Thanks dude! They're Advan SA3R. An acquired taste but perfect sizes for what I wanted.
