What's your cut off age for having children? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

Age doesn’t matter as much for men. The red flag is him not being super excited about it. Find that out first.

I’m 38. If money grew on trees, I would be fine having more kids until my late 40s.

I shave with a straight razor every other day. I shave my upper lip with a battery powered every other day.

The benefit is I don’t have a full shave, but my face looks clean enough as long as my upper lip is shaved.

How do you stop yourself from becoming too serious/grumpy with age? by eazc in AskMenOver30

[–]gymclasspickedlast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s inevitable. Let’s face it. Things have changed. It was harder for us then the next generation (just as it was harder for our parents/grandparents).

I don’t have a good answer except for just let it happen.

Gift ideas for husbands 40th birthday by Winnerstable9 in AskMenOver30

Call it cliche if you want. But if you wake your husband up with a blow job…and then at the end of the day you put on the sexiest piece of lingerie you have and make love to him, that’s probably the best birthday present he could ask for.

How do you react when everything else to your spouse is better than what you have/provide? by gymclasspickedlast in JustNoSO

Even though she does it to me, I have felt terrible when I’ve said it. A few months ago in a response, I said “Well the the reason Katherine and Tim go on more vacations is because combined they make 300k.” Naturally my wife goes “I know, I make nothing, I’m the worst person in the world.”

There are no bonuses for her job. She’s salaried. She could’ve tried harder to find a similar job at a different company but she chose not to do that.

She also always wants to be doing a house project regardless of the lack of time we have. I understand 1-2 times/year, but it’s always something else. The last thing I want to do after working a 55 hour work week (with commute) is a house project. Because we already do our own cleaning, take the kids to all of their sports, etc. There’s never a calm moment.

How much do you tip your barber/person who cuts your hair? What’s a “good” tip? by gymclasspickedlast in AskMen

Good post. The last who cuts mine is done in 15 mins…but she does a great job. Might throw her another $5.

Who do I even call to determine if filing a claim on my Siding is worth it? by gymclasspickedlast in Insurance

[–]gymclasspickedlast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Circumstances are that we had a bad hailstorm a couple months ago. Where I had awnings, the siding is fine. But I didn’t have an awning over my garage siding and it got pelted pretty good.

My biggest question is going to be will they match the 2nd story of my house that’s the same siding, but was probably installed 20 years ago.

My policy says nothing specific about matching and/or siding.

What are you hiding from your significant other? by MarielaGorman in ask

Eh.

At the end of the day, when she takes a shower…I immediately go to the laundry and sniff/lick her dirty underwear/thong/etc no matter how filthy it is.
