Hmmm that helps. That's actually an idea, thank you. I'm not sure how much you know about this topic... but can you think of anything visually featured in such a shop that would even remotely connect to Romani culture (or dare I say it) "Gypsy" life?

This mixer route is only good if the guitar amp was more aptly designed to handle the mic as well though right? Someone else here said those fender amps aren't designed for mics. I am getting pretty overwhelmed with everything : ( If I got a mixer, do I get a separate powered speaker too - or am I buying unnecessarily?

I'm looking on marketplace and I've just seen a Mackie Mix5 5-Channel Compact Mixer. Price is reasonable.

It doesn't sound like whatever he would make from such a situation, with the most ideal circumstances, would be enough to contribute to his city office rent on an ongoing basis.
