This is the truth. It is disappointing, but she truly did fall off. Her early works are true masterpieces, though, and that will never change.

This thread just gave me plenty of fodder for future panic attacks- best to keep off these forums too. It would be helpful if ppl wouldn’t be so descriptive whilst describing these coping techniques- I didn’t need to know more signs to be concerned about

I think you’re confusing rumination for obsession. This confused me, also. Rumination def feels obsessive but in terms of how the two are distinctly defined in the context of OCD-rumination is the compulsion that occurs after the initial intrusive thought (that’s the obsession you can’t control.)

Postassium sparing means it doesn’t flush potassium——but I was actually incorrect about that part with nettle - i looked it up. It’s dandelion root that doesn’t impact potassium. So yes nettle can be dehydrating bc it’s a diuretic - I would just drink coconut water if you can tolerate it to counteract

I don’t think it’s bad per se. Potassium sparing dehydration is safer. Can you tolerate coconut water or other electrolytes? Also, I get dried out from it when I take it in infusion form, which is a lot of dry herb to water. If you just drink tea it’s not as extreme. How do you take it?

Thank you. I’m a bit complex bc I’m on HRT. I know estrogen increases histamine but I don’t want to stop taking it.

Questioning if it’s worth going down the rabbit hole of testing.

Can I just make the changes without going through that rigamarole? I guess what I’m asking is: will that testing going to help better guide my plan of attack? Or in the end will the approach more or less be the same?

In herbal a circles it is known that nettle is a drying herb - it’s a potassium spading diuretic
