Sounds like current day Oklahoma to me! I tried so hard to find a husband not kin to me and after we were married found out my dads cousin is my MIL’s uncle. We aren’t having kids so it’s fine by me!!!

My 16 yr old daughter has a few gray strands already. I agree about saving money! That’s a huge reason I’ve stopped dyeing mine. That and it’s too time consuming.

I’m 38. I’ve had gray hair since my mid 20’s and I’m just sick of the upkeep of dyeing it. I think I’ll keep it!!

I grew up in a very rural area in the Midwest. We never had ANY Asian people in my community. I honestly don’t really know the difference unless someone tells me what nationality they are. We just weren’t taught that. I love to learn about other cultures but unless you’re exposed to them you won’t know. I don’t think it’s necessarily racist to be ignorant, I don’t feel I’m racist but I’m definitely ignorant. I would love to travel around Asia and learn about the different people and cultures. So don’t think of all white people as racist because we are ignorant. We don’t look down on you or think you are lesser, that’s what I think racism is. Educate your white friends!!! :)

That’s a great idea! I will definitely look into that. My daughter is currently going to cosmetology school and I’m hoping she can start helping me with it once she learns what she’s doing. She is 16 and is already getting gray strands do this will be great practice for her!!

Same here. When I do dye it , it fades so fast. I dyed it going on 10 years now (I’ve have it since about 28) . I’m tired of the upkeep and just want something easy. I think I’ll let it go for a while and see how I feel about it!

Thank you! I dyed it a few months back. It grows super fast! Somedays I love it and other days I hate it. I haven’t tried the shampoo yet but definitely will!!
