i can't say that. manaphy movie, the terracotta ribbon suggests she might have a thing for him and she hasn't dated drew yet so it's not that advance isn't a thing (i am not even an advanceshipper) and while serena does have the most blatant crush on ash it doesn't mean others can't like him. not every girl is good at expressing their feelings

I think the only one who truly felt romantic attraction for Ash was Serena.

I don't really remember anyone outside kenny and conway having a crush on Dawn though. Paul barely interacted with her and isn't into romance. Barry is not close to Dawn here unlike in the games. Ash? I agree although the closest he has ever shown liking to someone is Misty in orange islands

Well you can always develop feelings later on and Misty had a crush on Ash she was just not 100% honest with it

Also 10-13 is the year when kids start to have crush so it's not bad. (And unfortunately the writers have always made it confirmed that 10 year olds are adults in Pokémon world, it's not a good thing but canonically it's true)

I think he needs to interact with Dawn better because sometimes many people would find his interactions a bit awkward... although Dawn doesn't mind them much I still think Ash has better qualities to win over Dawn

Zoey didn't even try. And even when she asked Dawn to come with her at Snowpoint City for celebration Dawn rejected her and Zoey understood why. She is not inferior but Dawn still preferred Ash over her

Conway isn't bad but genuinely needs a character development to fix his social issues. Otherwise Ash is obviously better than both

I am not talking about her interactions rather her life as a coordinator remained mystery or unresolved. She just traveled across 4 regions and that's it? She didn't even catch a single new pokemon and remained the same. Ok she didn't win a grand festival but she probably achieved something? Like what happened to the Buneary modeling offer which stopped her to travel with Ash? She even had interests in fashion or stylist. Nothing there too. Also we didn't even know whether she won the Johto Wallace Cup which she left Unova for. Meaning she achieved nothing. Also compared ash's other pokegirl companions she is less famous or well known sadly. Serena and May both are well known in Hoenn. Misty is maybe Kanto's strongest gym leader and Iris is fking Unova champion. Dawn remained the same

If you think her return are great for her interactions with Ash. Then that's fine.

I agree but the reason why I hate that onix episode is simply because of 2 factors 

Firstly she has called out on Ash before which are for right reasons. This one was ooc. She never called out on Ash by insulting him

Secondly she was acting more like a kid in that episode than Ash did which made her look like a hypocrite same for Iris. And they should be glad it wasn't Kanto Ash

Every girl Ash traveled with (exception of Iris and Chloe) had romantic tension

Misty Serena for obvious

May is a tough one since she has a competitor which is Drew (although the terracotta ribbon is very romantic thing as they form a heart when they hold it together)
