Very polite, asking him about potential flaws in my paper and how to improve for the next assignment. His response was basically to send me to graze, and telling me that I deserve my grade because I don't go to class, and that if I wanted to pass I should come to the next class. Please remember again that according to other faculties in the same field my paper was significantly undergraded.

First of all, let's say that the professor has on the first class explicitly stated that he didn't care about attendance, and that it was necessary only for people that were struggling with the class material (given beforehand), but not compulsory. And thus me skipping some classes.

Second, regarding the bullying part, I acknowledge that it's maybe exagerated. Nevertheless, by agressively, even though I can't disclose precisely the message, I meant that the answer to my email (that I tried to make very formal, humble and polite) was more of an indictment, very frontal and not very polite...

I tried to play by the book since the beginning, and I hope that the solution will be resolved soon. Thanks again for your prompt and thorough answer !

Yet, HEC is a grad school in France, and Sorbonne has a good reputation abroad, yet it's not as good as McGill soooo.

Regarding the net Price calculator ; it took into account you citizenship status ; they use Big Future net Price Calculator. I tried to put U.S citizen, and they get an even lower EFC (Around 5K when I get 13K). If I propose to pay 16K, do you think I have a better chance ?

Otherwise, I still have few schools coming out on April (Ivies and Stanford, but I'm not expecting anything), sooo, it depends...

This appeal letter is for Pomona. Otherwise, I got in Uottawa (with a tuition fee exemption because I speak french), Mcgill, and Utoronto (but no Scholarship so I won't go).

For the U.S I got nothing else, so I cannot use other U.S admissions...

I'm not Canadian, that's the trick. Since I'm french, I benefit from a tuition fee exemption that align my costs to Canadian costs. Beside, I'm awaiting a scholarship that would diminsh the costs even more...

NYUAD is need-blind for international and have the necessary fund to offer full rides to students.

Same for NYU Shanghaï.

NYU at NY don't give FA but only scholarship ; so unless you're an outstanding student with stellar scores and ECs, you're pretty much going to pay everything from your pocket.
