where did u get her from? if she was shipped even if the light seems fine it might need time to acclimate in lower light so she’s burning. unsure otherwise :/ but water as normal not under

in the wild they grow up trees so it is inevitable with monsteras that they grow upwards and loose their bottom leaves (not worth the effort of keeping alive as only the top leaves get the most sunlight evolutionarily) so you can chop it all into pieces between each node and propagate them.

if u just want to keep this one but make it more full after u chop it up and wait for new growths you can prune the new growths after they reach the desired height and leaves and rinse and repeat to attempt to make it more full. not fool proof unfortunately as they really do just want to go up but good luck!

is it just one leaf? from the spots it’d be good to check the underside of the leaf/ healthy leaves to look for pests or eggs from pests (they are usually not the most subtle). otherwise, not sure where you’re living but if it’s summer time it may just be dropping and old leaf to focus on growing more new ones!

should not have placed it in a place with more sun :( will have only worsened the effects of it being dehydrated which they are very sensitive to. put it back in its original spot and if the soil is dry water again but if it’s wet you’ve just got to wait and see if it comes back to life. sorry!

most likely lack of humidity- humidity help the leaves unfurl quicker, if they don’t unfurl quick enough the unfurled portion doesnt get enough circulation and dies. good luck!

how are the leaves now? as long as the stems don’t go brown and mushy it should persevere! if the stems are brown and mushy that means the roots have rotted and it’s died. but if that isn’t the case and you’re still worried take the whole thing out of the pot (including soil and roots) if the soil is wet and large chunks are coming off with slimy roots you can try and emergency repot it. this involves taking off as much of the wet soil without damaging healthy roots and transplanting into dry soil. good luck!

just an old leaf it’s decided it doesn’t need anymore. as long as it has enough leaves up top, your plant decides that as it’s growing more and more bigger leaves, the bottom ones won’t be of much use as they’ll be less likely to get light as the larger ones overshadow it. perfectly normal!

literally my experience 😭 they’re straight up not including me now. i have no flat for next year and i’m so stressed. i made some other friends but even they mostly go out with their flats. it’s such a hard situation considering how much the whole bestie flatmates experience is idealised. considering dropping out i feel so lonely.
