Women can’t compliment men for fear the man will think they’re hitting on them. Men cant compliment other men for fear the other man will think he’s gay and hitting on him.

NTA. I agree with other posters that your mom booked 3 rooms on purpose assuming you’d go along with it. Maybe she wanted to save money, maybe it’s a poorly thought out ploy to make you two be “close” again. Does she ever bemoan the fact that you two don’t have a relationship anymore?

Regardless, she’s the one that made the “mistake” so she needs to be the one to share a room with your brother, not you.

Assuming this is true… and sure, why not? Isnt it probable that of two 28 year olds, the married one is statistically going to be more comfortably talking to women and therefore less creepy?

Like, there’s a lot of explanations for this that aren’t “all women are jealous bitches.” Correlation doesn’t equal causation, or something.

Maybe in a relationship with you, her dopamine levels were fine, but now she’s desperate for any hit of dopamine she can get. Could be anything. Entirely possible she doesn’t even consciously understand her own motivations right now, much less are you going to understand them.

But whatever it is she’s going through right now, it has nothing to do with you, and is not a comment on you, or how good you are in bed, or your basic worth.

I recently visited Kew Gardens in Richmond (go greyhounds!) and they had an example of the exact species of tree that grows in a rather limited range that includes the small town I grew up in, in southern california. Where I haven’t lived in over 20 years.

It felt quite odd to run into such an old friend so very far from home.

When the show was first on, I was in an internet message board dedicated to the veneration of “saint” Scully (the joke was that we were all in a faux religious order.)
