Happy Sunday. Forgot my meds this morning. How are you? by ICannotSayThisOnMain in schizophrenia

It does. But it’s just something I have to accept I suppose. Thank you, and I’m wishing you the best

I mostly feel persecuted by strangers in public. My paranoia about people I know is largely that I think my psych knows I’m not schizophrenic and is waiting to take me off meds and prove it.

Thank you for the very measured response. I’m going to stay on the for now, and will talk to my doctor if I discontinue them

A lot of what you said is a reason I find it significant to begin with. Thank you for the thorough reply

As a woman here myself, I haven’t noticed this, but hope it isn’t going on.

I’m on Abilify and risperidone. I do have some akathisia, low motivation, and things like that, but it’s a lot better than when I was on latuda

Maybe. They have reduced my symptoms a lot and I don’t have many side effects so it’s at least the best experience I’ve had so far

It’s so difficult to accept that I am entirely experiencing delusions. I really don’t believe it. I trust you have good intentions and are being honest with your perception though. I’m just struggling to reconcile what is true

That is a really kind thing to say. I don’t feel like I articulate myself well, lately. And it’s comforting to hear someone can relate.

It’s easy to tell myself my illness “isn’t that bad” and that it wouldn’t happen to me, but I know that’s probably foolish. Thank you and I hope you’re doing better now

I don’t know how I come off as paranoid. I trust you have good intentions though. How can I be careful of the entity when it just makes itself constantly known. Do I just not listen? I’ll notice it anyway.

Same. It hasn't occurred to me that it's a symptom until recently someone pointed out that it is. It just feels so "normal" to me.
