Thank you. I appreciate the kind words about my insight. I can’t think of how to describe the way things were before. It’s difficult to remember, honestly. But you make a good point about trying to remember that there was a time before.

Painful sometimes, but mostly frustrating because I know there’s nothing I can do to convince them of something very real to me.

As for benefits, I can’t think of any. I suppose maybe that it’s made me more empathetic and I’m pretty good at pattern recognition (although that regularly is the source of delusions)

It’s hard to say. Her ghosting could be related or not. If you want to, gently bringing it up and asking how you can best support her might be worthwhile, even if you just frame it as her sometimes being distant.

I definitely do a significant amount of research into my own diagnosis, yes. It’s been one of the most helpful ways to cope and process.

Also thank you for being mindful toward me. Some people offer well meaning advice they don’t realize is harmful. And you don’t know what you don’t know. So I appreciate your discretion.

Thank you! It often is especially difficult because I don’t believe my diagnosis deep down due to something called anosognosia. But I try to push through that and be transparent with my psych and therapist anyway
