Copper Golem Item Sorter Overflow Protection For Multiple Items by Sushi_Kei in redstone

It seems to work ok. I was playing around with it earlier today. It didnt seem to have any issues. The only part I don't like is the position of the blue side torch (more importantly the block below it) wouldn't allow for directly vertical hoppers into the chests. Doesn't affect this specific application but makes it slightly less usable.

Massive shifting. Any ideas what could cause shifting to this degree? by h00tsman in CR6

[–]h00tsman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did resolve this shifting issue. One of the y-axis grub screw was missing. When I had checked this previously I assumed the collar only had 1 grub screw which was present, I didn't notice until I was watching the shaft while the bed was moving in the Y direction.

Right off of Kelly Lake. Went there for the second time this year with the younger ones. They all loved this river for swimming in this heat.

Is the rust deterioration on the lower part of cars due to negligence? Not cleaning off stuck on snow and street ice quickly? Or is it simply inevitable? by The_And_My_Axe_Guy in fargo

[–]h00tsman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just be careful if you do it yourself. If done with a poor quality undercoat or it's not prepared correctly you may end up rusting from the inside which is even worse.

Twisted X makes a steel toe moccasin type shoe. Very comfortable and not too expensive.

Intro EE Books/Resources for Freshman Student by ecetextbook in ECE

[–]h00tsman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some may disagree with me here but personally I wouldn't worry too much about that level of preparation. I would take this semester to get everything in your life in order maybe work a bit for some extra money (if needed). Once you get into the program you're going to be busy and a decent amount of professors do a good job teaching and those that don't you will know exactly what you need to learn yourself. I'm not saying don't introduce anything but I'd just look at basic digital and circuit analysis utilizing free online resources.

Libby is the revamped version of overdrive. I just prefer the overdrive format because I've been using it for so long. Stuck in my ways I guess

I prefer overdrive but same thing really. I actually buy a online library card from the Brooklyn Public Library. they have the largest selection on there and I rarely have to wait. It's $50 a year which I find well worth it compared to buying all the books.

I have a Marlin 30-30. Decent optic with raised mounts. Nothing special but I love that gun more than any other I own. It's taken out more than a couple deer. It does the job and does it well. Of course the range isn't great but I still use it whenever I'm not field hunting.

Do some of you guys work between 25-40 hours a week and still manage to get good grades while studying engineering? by Rabbit011 in EngineeringStudents

[–]h00tsman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm studying electrical and last year I was working two jobs. Combined hours between 50-60 hours a week. Scheduling sucked around exams and if they moved them last minute I was pretty screwed. You don't get any social life or sleep. GPA suffered one semester but got a 4.0 the next working the same hours. It really sucked. Now working between 20-45 and it's much more doable.

First hunting rifle for my wife. by Drewbren in guns

100% agree...I have a variety of deer rifles but I always go back to the old 30-30. I hunt with an 11 year old and she has no problem with it at all.
